Our family has enjoyed using Thieves by YoungLiving....we used it in our diffuser for sick kids, gargled for sore throats and even with musty molding laundry when we lived on the coast. The downside was the cost $40 a bottle. This bottle seems to have the same properties, smells the same (which I like) and is a fraction of the price!

I love the smell; it is spicy, strong, and healthy. To boost immunities, we use this essential oil whenever someone in the house is sick or if one of the girls has an important event coming up, for example, singing or dancing performance. We apply it directly to the soles of our feet for quick absorption. We also use it in humidifiers and fountains and diffusers for airborne aromatherapy.I buy three at a time and try to always have a bottle in the house, because you never know when someone in the family (or a guest!) will get sick.
For years we used the Thieves from Young Living which is excellent, but prohibitively expensive. We are so happy to have discovered this more affordable alternative.I had used Young Living brand Thieves oil before trying this product. I got very good results with the Young Living Thieves oil, and I can say that this oil is very similar at a fraction of the cost.
This is definitely a pure blend without any fillers. The quality of the oils seems very good.
About a week after I received this oil I got an ear infection. I had a lot of pain in the left side of my head around my ear and a little bit of swelling. I diluted some of this oil in Olive oil and put a dab of it on a cotton swab, then stuffed this in my ear while I slept. I woke up the next morning and the pain was gone. It seemed to take care of my ear infection completely in one night. I repeated this again the next night just to be sure, and the ear infection never came back.
I'm very happy with this product and will purchase it again.I was recently introduced to YL oils but they are extremely expensive, although I am assured that the quality is exceptional (organic, therapeutic grade only). However, for the purpose that I am using these oils, it seems that Plant Therapy is just as effective for a much more affordable price. :)I almost feel bad writing this because my father sells Young Living/Thieves, and that was how I was introduced to the properties of Thieves. However, at around $40 for a 15ml a bottle, Thieves is just too expensive.
This oil does smell the same as Thieves, but Thieves is a bit stronger in smell. The ingredients are the same for both, but the order is different. I know that for food ingredients are listed in order of predominance from most to least, and I am assuming that these labels are the same. For Thieves the ingredients are listed as follows: clove, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and rosemary. For this oil, they are listed as follows: lemon, clove, eucalyptus, cinnamon, and rosemary.
I use this the same way that I use Thieves. I put a few drops in my vaporizer, and, when I really feel like I may be coming down with something, I will rub a couple drops on the bottoms of my feet. Of course I have not done a scientific test, but, as far as I can tell, the results are the same. While other people are hacking around me, I feel and stay fine.
When I bought this it was on sale for $7.99. I bought two not realizing that the bottle that was twice the size of my bottle of Thieves, which must be a sample sized bottle or something.
This is a good buy that seems to be as effective as Thieves.
