These cod liver pills do not have the obnoxious fish odor nor do we burp up fish oil for hours like some other brands that we've tried.

I buy many bottles in February or March before the weather gets too warm. Otherwise, the bottles get warm or even hot in the UPS truck. I store them in the freezer during the summer. Once opened, I keep the bottle in the refrigerator to prevent the oil from becoming rancid.

Although a bit pricey, Arctic Cod Liver Oil capsules contain the "good" things for your heart and don't have any mercury like some of the products on the market. The capsules are a little big and not overly easy to ingest, but you can chew them (I don't). I strongly recommend them.

I've tried A LOT of different brands of fish oil capsules and these are BY FAR the best I've ever purchased. Easy to swallow and no fishy aftertaste! I accidentally bit one open while swallowing it and the contents have a very mild lemon flavor without any hint of the strong fish oil taste or smell often associated with this type of supplement. A bit more expensive than the other brands, but well worth the cost for a supplement that has no heavy metals, nor hint of fishy flavor.

I have been wary of taking Omega3s because of previously bad experiences. In my previous experience, I broke out so bad from another product, that I ended up on Accutane. Some say that Omega3s will never do that, but it happened to me. Probably because the other Omega3 was from shellfish, and I found out that I'm allergic to shellfish.

Anyway... I have been taking these for about 4 months, only because I read a few studies that said that people who take a certain amount of Omega3s lose more weight and faster than individuals who do not take any Omega3s. Since I was stuck and wasn't losing any more weight, I decided to try these.

I took 5-6 pills per day and I began losing weight very fast. These also make me lose my appetite a little (I still eat, just not as much).

I take 5-6 pills every day, with food. When I take them on an empty stomach I get heartburn. They have also not made me break out. I have not experienced any burping with these at all, but maybe that's just me.
