It was very hard finding a deodorant without anti-perspirant. I had my lymph nodes removed from under my arms and tropical traditions was a god send. I was even told by someone in the know at Rite Aid to use powder. I bought both Tropical Traditions deo "Classic" and the "Lavender" for my daughter and me after a great deal of research on line to find a natural deo that actually works. Aluminum-free and paraben-free was high priority as it was to be used by my 9-year old, who started perspiration at an early age. This deodorant brand (all scents) had great reviews. Some wrote that it was the only natural deo, they had tried that kept them odor-free. "Lavender" is our favorite scent! The "Classic" scent smells like patchouli. My daughter and I have used them for three years (my daughter is 12 now)and they work great. I would recommend it to anyone, especially pre-teen and teenagers after discovering that some teen deodorants have double the aluminum that normal anti-antiperspirant deodorants!!I have tried several natural deodorants before, and many have not worked for me. I was glad to try this product since I use and believe in virgin coconut oil and use many other products by Tropical Traditions. This deodorant works well for me and has a mild, pleasant lavender scent. The size is also convenient for air travel. I would recommend this product to anyone, although if you're just now switching from commercial antiperspirants, this will not work as well as you're used to. I have used any commercial aluminum deodorant products for years.Chose to order this product because I wanted a more natural deodorant. I like that it's natural, but unfortunately I also need something that will reduce perspiration and body odor, neither of which this product was able to accomplish.There was something abnout this deodorant that didn't work for me. I felt a bit greasy after awhile of wearing it. I guess I am so used to wearing Tom's of Maine. I would not buy this again.
