Tanacetum annuum is Blue Tansy, not German Chamomile. The Latin name should be Matricaria Recutita for true german chamomile so this is a completely different essential oil, different plant. Though both have azulene which makes them blue. I was surprised to see the label was false, not sure what the people at Edens Garden are trying to pull here, i have bought from them regularly and though their oils tend to taken from the cheaper species of the plants for example lavender spp. & frankincense serrata . I do believe they are still therapeutic grade and still good oils, and for how often i go through them you cant beat the price.

Just remember to go by the latin names!!

I'm a certified aromatherapist and I use German Chamomile essential oil for a lot of different things. Body lotions, soap, body washes, as treatment for different ailments, and if I just want to relax. The quality of Edens Garden essential oils is very good, but without a GC/MS report, I can't swear to each bottle's exact chemical composition. A quick tip for others: Add 3 drops of German chamomile and 2 drops of lavender essential oil to your nighttime bath and melt away stress before bedtime.

I normally purchase essential oils from my local Whole Foods market. I was unable to find Pure German Chamomile that wasn't mixed with a carrier. I stumbled upon this brand, and really felt I got a bang for my buck. I was pleased with the quality of this oil and would definitely recommend others to give it a go. It also came fairly quickly in the mail too.

the wife gets migrain headaches alot. about 3-4 a week. when she feels one coming on she will get a hot compress, take her pill and lay down. she tried the hot compress with only the chamomile on it. no med's this time. about a 1/2 hr. later she said the migain was gone. every night now she takes a hot compress and sits in the chair. the migrains so far have not returned. the high grade therapeutic grade EO from edens garden is well worth the money since it got rid of the wife's migrain without medication. i will be ordering more from eden garden for they are a very fast shipper and have a very high grade of EO's

I order the german chamomile, it was great. The smell was just as I remembered. I use it as part of a hot oil treatment for my hair and it is so relaxing and soothing. I love the feel of my hair each and every time I use it. I will definitely continue to use this. I already have a home made facial in mind for this essential oil as well can't wait!
