I, too, have used EO cleaner since finding it in my natural foods store several years ago. It is the best thing I've found for cleaning open wounds. Yes, there is a sting because there is alcohol, but I have found that the skin closes and heals more quickly than with anything sitting in my medicine cabinet. I have no doubt of its cleaning power and keep some around the house in various places. Boy, are we clean!

I bought this for my toddler because she touches everything and enevitably gets sick every time we go out (grocery store, park, restaurant, etc...). I love that it's organic, truly love that factor. So far it's worked great at keeping the germs away. The only downfall to this product is that it really has a strong smell of lavender. So strong that it tickles the nose and makes me sneeze. I almost sent this back because of the smell BUT you get use to it. Weighing the pros and cons, I kept the spray and am happy I did. You just need to be aware of where you spray it in public and in tight spaces and how the smell will affect others. Ovall, I'd buy it again and recommend it to others. I just wish they'd find a way to dial down the smell a bit.

I keep a bottle of this in my purse. Unlike gel hand sanitizers there is no yucky residue. When you spray it you get an initial alcohol scent but after a second all that is left is lovely, fresh lavender. Anyone who has tried mine has gone out and bought their own. A wonderful product.

It smells so good. I feel safe putting it on my children. Bottle is nice size and doesn't drip. Lasts a long time.

Update: This last time I bought EO, it didn't have that nice lavender smell. More like alcohol. Sad. Hoping it was a fluke. (My new bottle was cylinder and not the kind in the picture here (and that was the bottle that smelled great!)

I have been using this hand sanitzer for several years since a friend gave me a bottle of hers. I couldn't believe that she was using a hand sanitizer! The natural lavender oil creates a most pleasing scent, despite the alcohol. I've had people at my dinner table wonder "What is that beautiful smell??" I'll never use a regular hand sanitzer again!

P.S. You can also purchase in smaller, "pen-sized" sprayers and fill them up when done.
