I tried several pre-shave oils over the years, but this is the best ever. It's a little heavier oil than you may be used to but skin and beard soak it up and the shave is smooth, smooth, smooth. No cuts or knicks, even shaving against the grain. As far as I'm concerned this is the only shave oil I will buy from now on.

I've been shaving with a DE Safety Razor for a little over 5yrs and this is the best pre-shave oil I've experienced; by far. I have SUPER sensitive skin and this product has allowed me to become razor bump free. Finally!

Pros:

Rather benign scent; it doesn't feel like a bottle of cologne threw up on your face

Packaging. Bottle is actually plastic and has a dispensing tip that makes it easy to portion out into hands.

Consistency. Not very oily. Some other brands I've used have either been super gummy remaining on hands, face, razor and brush or too watered down to have any effect. This product seems to strike the perfect balance.

Cons:

Packaging. The cap that covers the tip can become dislodged if you throw this into a gym bag or travel case.
