I have chronically thin enamel on my teeth. Despite all the conventional things my dentist has tried, it persisted, along with gum soreness as well. It would get better and then come back at pretty regular intervals. I brushed normally with fancy dentist-recommended sonicare tooth brush, flossed, etc. However, it was still rare that I DIDN'T have something that needed to be done whenever I visited the dentist. I knew it wasn't me being ripped off, because my teeth would actually hurt...plus he didn't have to lie, my teeth have always been problematic. I probably put that dude's kids through college.
He gave me a prescription to try this specially potent fluoride toothpaste, and frankly I was just sick of that whole thing. At the same time though, I knew the average dentist won't know to do anything different.
My boss at work uses this stuff and suggested that I try it; so I figured I'd give it a shot. I will say that I am impressed...it may not be quite the miracle worker that they market it as, but it did work well for me. Whenever I use it consistently, my gums don't get sore and my mouth does feel better. At my last cleaning, the only things wrong were the things I didn't get fixed the time before(oops), but nothing new had really happened. Quite an event by itself!
The only problem is the expense. It does last me for a few weeks (5 to 6 drops on my toothbrush at a time), but it won't last as long as a normal tube of toothpaste.
