This diffuser has such a quiet fan. It's very simple to use and is well constructed. I suggest buying more cotton pads when you purchase the diffuser, if you have alot of oils. These aromatherapy diffusers are the least hassle (no water and possible mold problems) and no heat which can increase a fire hazard and destroy the benefits of the oils. This unit has a simple, quiet fan that gets the therapeutic volatile oils around the house. I've found you can simply wash out the pads once in a while to use them twice as long. Although oil and water don't mix you can use a little detergent and some elbow grease to squeeze the pad and wring it out. I highly recommend this for each floor of the house, and especially for kid's rooms where I use some eucalyptus and lavender on the pad to prevent colds and flu.

This diffuser is great and has a multi-speed fan in it. It fills the room with fragrance very quickly. I feel it is very expensive for what it is made of. It is all plastic. I paid $45 for it and felt it should have been around $15.
