I have dreadlocks and have been looking for some essential oils to care my hair. This little gem of an essential oil is one of the few I've found that really work in my scalp treatment regimen. I add a little to a few drops of tea tree oil, jojoba oil, Rosemary and Lavender oils and apply to my locks and my scalp feels good, especially after a retightening. I recently discovered also that it's great for itchy scalp. Somehow after having my locks re-tightened I sometimes develop fine bumps along my hairline..a few dabs of Cedarwood oil and they're gone in a couple days!
I also have eczema and acne, and whenever I break-out, I'll apply a sml mixture of tea tree, cedarwood and rosemary oils on a Q-tip and the pimple dries up quickly, but don't use too much or it will leave a scar.
