I ordered a number of bottles of this product in the Fall/Winter of 2010. I had a lot of rectal bleeding and had been told by several doctors that I had interrior hemorrhoids and that the pain and bleeding I had was caused by the hemorrhoids.

The product arrived quickly. It was exactly as described.

It didn't help, however.

I was in my early 50's, had never had a colonoscopy. I DID have internal hemmorhoids.

I also had rectal cancer.

If you, at any age, have colorectal cancer symptoms. GET A COLONOSCOPY.

If your doctor brushes you off. GET ANOTHER DOCTOR.

Don't accept a diagnosis that it is "just hemorrhoids" unless you KNOW there is no other possible reason for the bleeding and pain.

Colorectal cancer doesn't just strike people 50 and over. The rate of younger people (sometimes MUCH younger) getting colorectal cancer is increasing at a rate of 2% a year.

This product is fine and I'm sure it fulfills its promises. It just won't help rectal cancer.

Take care of yourself.

And if you are diagnosed with cancer, go to very good doctors. I did, and I'm going to be okay.

This product did not help my situation. I purchased 2 bottles in order to allow maximum coverage, however , it did not work

Upon opening the package, my first impresion was "for $39 ... this bottle is very small". In addition to that, the actual amount of extract couldn't have filled more that 1/4 of the very small dark brown bottle. I was surprised how quickly the bottle was empty considering the small amount dipensed for each use. As for the product meeting it's claim, in my case it was rather ineffective; the condition comes and goes just as it had before using this product.

Definitely not worth $39.50.
