I have been searching for a beautifully scented rose essential oil, but this just isn't it. At $30 a bottle plus $7 for shipping, the scent did not live up to expectation: sweet but extremely linear and unfulfilling, without the richness and fertile bloom of a real rose. A geranium scent would probably be much better. (I should have just splurged for the Jo Malone Red Roses room fragrance and perfume instead.) This particular oil is also a very dark yellow, which makes it tough to blend with carrier oils without staining the skin upon application.

In addition, while I like that this vendor sells a wonderful array of essential oils and offers great customer service/fast shipping, after your first purchase, you receive an email from the seller offering you a free sample if you post a (presumably positive) review on Amazon and link to it in your reply. I feel that this inevitably taints all the customer reviews, since nobody is going to post a 1-star review when you're getting a freebie in return. The best reviews are always uncompensated.

Bought this and many other oils for the wife. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of Edens Gardens Essential Oils. They seem to utilize excellent extraction procedures as well as quality control in the manufacture of their products.

Would highly recommend to anyone interested in essential oils.

This Moroccan Rose oil is wonderfully scented and perfect for aromatherapy uses. It has a perfectly sweet, exotic scent that is so pleasant and relaxing. It is great for adding to skin products, and the smell is instantly calming.. definitely one of my favorite oils from Edens Garden!

This is my favorite Rose essential oil. Blended with Rose Bulgarian, it takes me back to childhood memories of my Mom's roses in Tennessee. Every time I use these two absolutes, I feel uplifted, calmed and focused. This product imparts the healing benefits of the rose plant and an unsurpassed natural rose aroma that is gentle and soothing to the user. I just love it!
