I make home made root beer from scratch. Birch oil is the secret ingredient, lending a wintergreen flavor needed to round out the flavor for a perfect brew. I bought this oil to continue scent training with my hound dog. We use a drop or two of the birch oil on a q-tip in a small, reused mint container to train in scenting--a "sport" for dogs in which they find the scent of birch, anise, etc in a variety of environments. It's fun and this was a great product, secure, doesn't leak, just what we needed.
