This oil fights inflamation in the body. Arthritis pain as well as other pain is/can be caused by inflamation. My daughter-in-law takes a 00 size capsule of this twice a day (she fills her own capsules) and it replaces #10 Lortab that she has taken for years from back pain. She's had 3 neck surguries and after finding this, she is like a new person. I take it along with lavender and peppermint in a capsule and it suppresses my allergies like nothing over the counter has ever done. I use 3 drops peppermint, 5 drops lavender, and about 10 of copaiba. A couple of drops of lavender under the tongue held a few second stops my watering eyes. She also takes a full capsule of frankincense along with 3 drops peppermint to combat her fibromalgia. She always uses 3 drops of peppermint in capsule to help her body absorb it. She got immediate pain relief from the copaiba, but it took a little longer for the fibromalgia. My husband took a couple of capsules for about 3 days, then he quit because he didn't like the fact that it caused him to burp it. His pain had completely quit (his is arthritis in the back) and now it is coming back. I think he could probably take one every few days and it keep the pain away. People are different, and they react differently, but I hope I never have to give up my oils. I have found the quality to be as good as the more expensive oils.

I agree, the initial smell is sort of like opening a sweet pickle jar and getting a casual whiff! It almost felt like it had bits of that 'vinegar' warmth that you get when you smell it (without the actual strength of vinegar, don't worry) mixed with sugar. I would almost dare to say sort of like a light honey-balsalmic dressing (YUM) or something. But in no way did it actually 'curl my toes' like some other strong scents from this product line when opening the bottle. It says on the bottle that it works as a fixitive to make other scents last longer when combined, and is a base note (which means it can combine with almost anything). I plan on using this in making my soaps!

I received this after I bought the Ultimate Set from Edens Garden Thank you Edens Garden ;)

I had wanted it as I heard it increased shelf life if mixed with other oils and, most importantly, it helped with inflammation.

Yes, it smells a little odd. Sweet pickles would be the closest, but there's a sweet undertone that makes it quite pleasing.

A few days ago, my knee became extremely swollen, for two days, morning and night, I massaged it mixed with jojoba oil and the swelling is gone! I took nothing except the copaiba. My chiropractor was able to adjust it much easier without the swelling.

I also put it on my face in the mornings (mixed with Geranium) and since I've been using it, ZERO breakouts!

This is a great oil and Edens Garden is a super price (it's 13x the price from a competitor).

Besides the wonky droppers, I can only say good things about Edens Garden and their high quality oils!!

I used this on my shoulder that was hurting from an old injury. It did the trick. I was amazed how fast the pain was gone. I used it when needed for a couple weeks. Now I am not using it at all. Great stuff!

Compared to another brand this one was a bit runny and more diluted in feel and look. I did not throw this out when I found one of better quality, but I am using it in other ways then the good stuff.
