Now I've seen some slimey companies try to sell some cheap low-grade fish oil before but this product is just a straight old scam... plain and simple. If you go to the website of this product, omegaxl.com, they make it look all official and even include testimonials and a video from a doctor, BUT nowhere on the entire website does it show exactly how much omega 3 DHA & EPA are in the product. Omega 3 DHA & EPA are the two fatty acids in fish oil that has made fish oil such a big deal and has numerous benefits to your health. There are also other Omega fatty acids such as omega 6 & 9 but we get enough of those in our "western diet." Infact too much omega 6 has been linked to serious health problems because it CAUSES inflammation instead of preventing it like omega EPA does. That is why so many people on a "western diet" have serious inflammation related diseases in later years because most of our foods are just soaking in omega 6.

So now back to the Omega XL snake oil scam. If you look at the actual nutrion facts label it states that 2 pills contains 100mg of omega fatty acids. WAIT... WHAT!?!? 2 Pills only contain 100mgs?!?! that is only 50mgs per pill and it only says "omega fatty acids" not omega 3. Directly below that it states that the 100mgs of omega fatty acids includes the omega 3 EPA and DHA. That means that it could possibly be 90% omega 6 (the bad stuff) and only 10% omega 3. Who knows? That vital fact is not revealed. Now several studies have come to the conclusion that a person must take a MINIMUM of 500mgs day of omega 3 DHA & EPA to receive any health benefits at all. For a real theraputic dose a person would need to take from 1000-3000mgs a day. That means that you would need to take anywhere from 20-60 Omega XL pills a day to get that theraputic dose, and that's only if all 100mgs of the omega fatty acids were actually omega 3. Now imagine if there were actually a lot less and that is what I'm betting or else why would they hide the exact amount of omega 3 DHA and EPA? Even the standard run-of-the-mill fish oil at GNC has atleast 300mgs of omega 3 in each pill and their nutrition labels are detailed for all to see. There are also some ultra-refined fish oils that contain up to 1200mgs in ONE PILL and they cost the exact same amount as one pill of this snake oil. Please everybody do your research. A lot of these scammers have pretty looking websites and claims but tend to hide the specifics and they do that for a reason. Can you guess what that is? So If you don't mind paying a small fortune on 60 pills a day for this product then go ahead.

I have been taking fish oil supplements for a few years and have always been interested in learning about new and better delivery methods for omega 3 DHA and EPA. After reading about this Omega XL I almost fell out of my chair and had to post something. I am currently using Omega Via and it is great!! it costs only $25-$30 for a bottle of 60 pills and each pill contains 1200mgs of omega 3 DHA and EPA. If you are wondering.... no it is not a horse pill. It is only slightly larger then your average fish oil pill. They just refine it so pure that it is around 90% omega 3 EPA & DHA and the rest is other useless fats(standard fish oil pills are only about 30% omega 3 and 70% other fats). Just google this snake oil they call Omega XL and you will see just about every other link is about either people who have been scammed by them or by ex and current employees who are trying to blow the lid off this scam from the inside. There some very wicked people out there.

This is a side-by-side comparison of six omega-3 fish oil supplements: Omega XL, OmegaVia Pharma-Grade Fish Oil, Nutrigold Triple Strength Fish Oil Omega-3 Gold, Garden of Life Minami Nutrition Platinum Omega 3 Plus D3 Formula, Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega, and Omapure Pharmaceutical Grade Omega-3 Fish Oil.

There are three major components of omega-3 in these products: EPA (which is good for your heart, circulatory system, lowering triglycerides, depression and mood orientation, and is a powerful anti-inflammatory for soothing joint pains), DHA (which is good for your mental acuity, or if you are pregnant, nursing an infant, or for children), and "other." Other omega-3s, like DPA and SDA, are types of fatty acids which are easily converted to EPA in the body. In most fish oils, the amount of these other fatty acids is low, but in highly concentrated oils, it can be a significant amount. The important components are EPA and DHA.

SOURCE OF OMEGA-3 OIL FOUND IN OMEGA XL: Omega XL is produced by the Great Health Works Company of Coral Springs, Florida. Unlike the omega-3 found in fish oil products, which is derived from cold water fish such as anchovies, sardines, mackerel, herring, pollock, and whiting, the omega-3 and other fatty acids found in Omega XL are derived from the green-lipped mussel found in New Zealand.

LARRY KING INFOMERCIAL: I became aware of Omega XL while watching the Larry King infomercial about this product and decided to look into some of the claims. My first reaction was: what does Larry King know about fatty acid supplements?; why is the company using him as a spokesperson?; how much are they paying him?; and what effect has his engagement as spokesperson had on the exorbitant price of this product? Suffice it to say that Mr. King's opinion of Omega XL and my opinion of Omega XL are very different!

IFOS: The International Fish Oil Standards Program ("IFOS") (Google "IFOS consumer reports") is an independent third party omega-3 testing organization that provides batch-specific summaries of a product's IFOS testing results. The reports include a 5-star rating for each product containing greater than 60% concentration of EPA and DHA per gram of fish oil, allowing consumers to compare fish oil products based on their safety, purity and quality. Most of the highly rated omega-3 fish oil products are listed. Omega XL is not listed or rated because it is not a fish oil. However, even if it qualified as a "fish oil," Omega XL would not be rated by IFOS because it does not meet the 60% threshold. So, we don't have an independent third-party testing organization's evaluation of the product.

SUPERCRITICAL DUAL-PROCESS CO2 TECHNOLOGY: Omega XL is not molecularly distilled. It uses a proprietary Supercritical Dual-Process CO2 Technology which concentrates omega-3s, yielding unique selectivity of one of the most biologically active omega-3 fatty acids EPA. Using less heat, less repeat processing, and natural carbon dioxide as a solvent, allows these products to reach peak concentrations approximating 100% EPA, omitting superfluous fats and fillers. 400% less heat than molecular distillation is used during the entire process, with no oxygen exposure. Natural CO2 is used as an alternative to organic solvents and protects the final product from oxidation. In my opinion, Supercritical Dual-Process CO2 Technology is superior to molecular distillation.

LABEL DESCRIPTION: The label on the Omega XL product is one of the most poorly constructed I have seen on the bottle of any supplement. It omits most important information about the product; it fails to list all the ingredients; it fails to break down its fatty acid content in terms of EPA, DHA, and other omega-3; it fails to list the size of the gel cap; and it fails to list the overall content of each gel cap. None of the important information about the product is centralized and set forth in one place. You have to ferret it out, to the extent you can. This is not the kind of transparency one would expect from a reputable neutraceutical company.

FATTY ACID CONTENT: Omega XL distinguishes itself from omega-3 fish oil products by claiming that it contains thirty different fatty acids to only two or three contained in omega-3 fish oils, and it is more bio-available than omega-3 fish oil. This claim is false and misleading. It claims that each capsule contains 150 mgs of "fatty acids," 11 mgs of which are EPA and 6 mgs of which are DHA. The thirty fatty acids contained in each capsule are: Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), Alpha-Linolenic acid (ALA), Palmitic acid, Palmitoleic acid, Stearic acid, Vaccenic acid, Linoleic acid (an omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid), Linoelaidic acid (an omega-6 trans fatty acid), Oleic acid (an omega-9 monounsaturated fatty acid), Nervonic acid (an omega-9 monounsaturated fatty acid), Arachidonic acid (AA), Docosapentaenoic acid (DPA), Heptadecanoic acid, Eicosatetraenoic acid (ETA), Arachidic acid, Elaidic acid, Linolenic acid (GLA), Gadoleic acid, Eicosadienoic acid (EDA), Behenic acid, Tricosanoic acid, Butyric acid, Caprylic acid, Capric acid, Undecanoic acid, Lauric acid, Pentadecanoic acid, and Myristic acid.

There is nothing novel or unique about Omega XL's claim of thirty fatty acids. A low potency omega-3 fish oil product contains a similar amount of fatty acids. What is significant is that only some of those fatty acids are helpful, while others are either neutral or not beneficial. Omega XL does not clearly identify which are which. In fact, OmegaVia Pharma-Grade Fish Oil, which is a high potency omega-3 fish oil, contains about twenty fatty acids. Some of those fatty acids are present as trace elements. Bottom line, more fatty acids are not necessarily better! This is a deceptive and misleading sales pitch by Omega XL ... nothing more. It lacks transparency!

Other than EPA and DHA, the precise amounts of the thirty or so fatty acids contained in Omega XL are not disclosed, nor are they proven to have any real benefits. Some, like omega-6 and omega-9, which appear to be present in Omega XL in abundance, are clearly not beneficial. In fact, some appear to be trans fats. Palmitic acid is a potential heart problem. It is found as a "contaminant" in Seabuckthorn Omega-7 oils. Arachidonic acid is highly inflammatory and is the by-product of Omega-6 metabolism.

OMEGA-3 POTENCY: Omega XL has by far the lowest omega-3 potency of the supplements in this comparison (11%); followed by Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega (64%); followed by Omapure Pharmaceutical Grade Omega-3 Fish Oil (72%); followed by OmegaVia Pharma-Grade Fish Oil (85%) and Nutrigold Triple Strength Fish Oil Omega-3 Gold (85%); and followed by Garden of Life Minami Nutrition Platinum Omega 3 Plus D3 Formula, which has the highest omega-3 potency of the supplements in this comparison (89%). Omega XL has the lowest omega-3 potency of any omega-3 product I have reviewed.

PRICE: Omega XL is by far the most expensive per gel cap of the supplements in this comparison ($.85 per gel cap); followed by Garden of Life Minami Nutrition Platinum Omega 3 Plus D3 Formula ($.57 per gel cap); followed by OmegaVia Pharma-Grade Fish Oil and Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega ($.48 per gel cap); followed by Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega ($.28 per gel cap); followed by Omapure Pharmaceutical Grade Omega-3 Fish Oil ($.25 per gel cap); and followed by Nutrigold Triple Strength Fish Oil Omega-3 Gold, which is the least expensive per gel cap of the supplements in this comparison ($.20 per gel cap).

Omega XL is almost twice the price of the next most expensive product listed. There is no justification for that kind of price! If price is a major consideration, Nutrigold Triple Strength Fish Oil Omega-3 Gold is a very good value at roughly one-fourth the price of Omega XL, and you need to take only one pill a day, as opposed to two to four for Omega XL. The money the company is paying Larry King is no doubt responsible, at least in part, for its outrageous price!

PILL SIZE: OmegaVia Pharma-Grade Fish Oil is the largest gel cap of the supplements in this comparison (1300 mgs); followed by Nutrigold Triple Strength Fish Oil Omega-3 Gold (1250 mgs); followed by Garden of Life Minami Nutrition Platinum Omega 3 Plus D3 Formula (1218 mgs); followed by Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega (1000 mgs); followed by Omapure Pharmaceutical Grade Omega-3 Fish Oil (900 mgs); and followed by Omega XL, which is the smallest gel cap of the supplements in this comparison (150 mgs). In terms of size, all of these gel caps are manageable for most folks.

PRESSURE TACTICS: There appear to be a number of complaints about the company because of pressure tactics used in connection with the purchase of the product from the company. The complaint appears with sufficient frequency to lend credence to the claim.

PRODUCT SPECIALISTS: The company prides itself in announcing that it recently hired 150 product specialists to handle the volume of calls about the product. I did not find the company's product specialists knowledgeable, since they could not answer certain basic questions they should have been familiar with.

MEALS: These fatty acids based omega-3 products are best taken with a meal containing some fat, as they are more efficiently absorbed when taken with food.

OPINION: I would approach Omega XL with extreme caution. While it does not contain GMOs, cholesterol, or mercury, and uses a proprietary Supercritical Dual-Process CO2 Technology, it is not IFOS certified; the precise makeup of the product is not clearly set forth or is completely omitted; its omega-3, EPA, and DHA content is abysmally small (11%); it is outrageously expensive ($.85 per gel cap), particularly considering a starting dosage of four gel caps; it contains soy; and the product information provided about it lacks transparency.

I have some real problems with this company and with this product!

RATING:

I rated Omega XL one star.

I rated OmegaVia Pharma-Grade Fish Oil, Nutrigold Triple Strength Fish Oil Omega-3 Gold, Garden of Life Minami Nutrition Platinum Omega 3 Plus D3 Formula, and Omapure Pharmaceutical Grade Omega-3 Fish Oil five stars.

I rated Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega four stars because of its relatively low potency (64%).

I have separately reviewed all of these products.

This product was recommended to me by a friend for the discomfort in my knees ( possibly arthritis). The product brought no relief or improvement after 30 days. I called several times to report my dissatisfaction and asked that they not send any more and refund my money. They explained that I should complete the second bottle to give the product time to work. If after 60 days I saw no improvement, mail the empty bottles back and my money would be refunded. Before I could mail the bottles back, a third bottle arrived and was charged to my credit card. When I called to complain, they offered the new bottle for the reduced cost of $24.99 and that my original $55.00 would be refunded. That was 3 weeks ago. No money has been refunded to my account and I was again offered another bottle at a reduced cost. To stop this madness, I guess I will have to cancel my credit card because I don't think they will ever stop.

This product is heavily touted as an "anti-inflammatory". The OmegaXL representative I spoke to explicitly told me that it is effective as a headache preventative. In fact, she claimed to use it herself for that purpose. She was so sure that if only I had faith in her product and gave it a serious try, it would work for me too. I was willing to try anything at that point. So I did.

I have been suffering tension headaches for years. Since the manufacturer offers a "money-back guarantee", I figured that it couldn't hurt to try OmegaXL.

I used OmegaXL for the full trial period (90 days), to no avail. It had no impact on my headaches whatsoever.

To be honest, I would not have been motivated to write this review had the company followed through with its promise to refund my money "within 30 days" (after the failed trial). It didn't. I had to take the trouble to check with my bank. Then I had to go through the hassle of insisting that OmegaXL follow through with its promised guarantee or I would dispute the credit card charge with Visa. I have no doubt that if I had forgotten to check with my bank, I would have been out the full $184.80 it cost me to evaluate this product.

After all that, I finally received a refund, minus "shipping and handling". This company (with high volume bulk shipping discounts no doubt) charged me $15 to ship something that I could have shipped myself for $10. I suspect that the extra $5 (plus?) pays the actual cost of the fish oil they are selling.

I couldn't help but be reminded of the snake oil pitchmen of yesteryear.

If you have headaches, do yourself a favor and see your doctor. Mine recently prescribed a headache preventive (generic "Depakote") that seems to be working for me (so far).

A little faith is OK when the outcome is unclear. But if you want real measurable results, science makes a lot more sense.

Mom has suffered from chronic back pain, mostly due to osteo-arthritis and some disk problems, for years. At 85, surgery is not an option. Tried OMEGA XL for the recommended 30 days and not a thing changed. The company agreed to give me another 30 days at the "discounted price", saying that sometimes in older people it takes a little longer to kick in. Well, nothing changed and we canceled mom's subscription without blinking an eye.

I love this scrub but it is twice as expensive on amazon as it is in the Bath and Body works store. I recieved this as a gift after putting it on my wish list, not noticing the price. It is a shame that the person who gave this to me spent too much for it.

I have to write a review on this product because its one amazing product. I've tried many sugar scrubs on th market but I must say this is one that I truly love. It leaves my skin feeling replenished after a shower, and the scent is so intoxicating it soothes you instantly. I would definately recommend this product.

I gave this product two stars because I have found it very difficult to use. It feels great and smells great, but leaves a thick oily film on your skin, the kind you can scrape off with your finger nail and see. If you are using this product in a soothing bath, just a very small amount will leave a film of oil on the surface of the water and a ring on your tub. I've used sugar scrubs before, but never had one that is so oily and sticky. I would not purchase this product again.

Making the decision of wether to buy a product or not based on reviews is never an easy task. Instead of complaining about the bad things I will mention the pros and cons and let you decide :)

I use it after soap and before using shampoo.

PROS:

1.Leaves a nice, faint smell on your skin after you dry.

2.Leaves skin soft and with a healthy glow.

3.Helps with dry skin.

CONS:

1.Leaves shower very oily. (I used to make my own scrub from honey, olive oil and sugar and decided to try this because mine was too oily :D )

2.The smell is very strong when applying. My boyfriend started coughing haha

3.More expensive than making your own.

4.Leaves skin feeling a bit oily. If you are one of those girls/guys that don't like to feel product on your skin, this probably isn' for you.

So there, frankly, I think I will continue making my own since the only reason I switched were because mine was too oily for the tub, and didn't have any essences in it which made it kind of boring, however, this scrub is oily as well and the smell doesn't do it for me. I have only tried this one (sleep) and the "stress relief" one, which has an overpowering smell of car deodorant when I first use it. Again, the smell isn't bad after you rinse and dry but I just don't think the faint smell remaining is worth it.

Smells great! My skin gets very dry in the winter and this is definitely oily enough to combat that. Just be careful getting in the shower after using it as it does leave it a little slippery. I've used these types of products before and they all do that so I was prepared. Overall, this has a really nice mix of scrub and scent.

I love Epsom Salts (magnesium). But you don't need to buy this blend, as you can easily make your own. Epsom salts are very cheap and can be purchased in bulk here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004N7DQHA/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If you would like to add scents to your salts, you can buy an inexpensive bottle or bottles of essential oils. Personally, I like NOW brand, shown here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CDG91TU/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Since it requires about 1-2 cups per bath, the Rev brand only lasts for maybe 3 baths. For the price, you're much better off buying in bulk.

I bought this because I had a giant blister on my foot and was told to soak it in epsom salt. When this came a day after I ordered it, the blister had taken care of itself. So I took a bath with the salts they smell wonderful and it was really relaxing. No weird oily residue in my bathtub or on my person. A+.

7 seas cod liver oil may have all the nutrients that they claim, but I look at it as cod liver lite oil.

If they made the oil more pleasant to the taste and still retained its nutrition they have done a good job.

but if the product is diluted to taste better and a decline in food value, then the product is lacking. In

the future I will stick with the Norway cod. The 7 seas oil flows out of the bottle better than the Norway

oil. I feed the oil to my dog and she gives no complaints to either oil.

Please spare me the rhetoric about abortions. That said...

I am a 50+ guy that has always had problem skin; oily, acne, rosacea, and numerous other unexplained skin problems. Frankly, I have not really ever done much about it. I have always avoided almost all products, including soaps, as everything seemed to make it worse.

I discovered Neocutis products. I now wash my face twice a day with their mild face wash, which is absolutely wonderful. I put on their bio-restorative cream at night, and their bio-restorative cream mixed with some Rosac (rosacea cream with sunscreen) in the morning. At age 50+ my skin has never looked this good or been this problem free.

I would highly recommend Neocutis products.

I'm in my late 40's and have very sensitive skin with rosacea, which includes acne even after menopause. This product works great for my skin no more breakouts and it's helping decrease the lines around my mouth and eyes. I tried using this with Finacea gel, but I broke out less with just the Bio Cream, and it really helps to reduce the redness. It's moisturizing, but not greasy. My plastic surgeon recommended it after a breast reconstruction surgery, to help reduce the scarring it works well for that too.

This NeoCutis skin cream is wonderful. A little bit goes a long way but you must spread it quickly because the skin absorbs it with no greasiness at all. It was prescribed to me after my face lift and now it is all I will use. Buying through Amazon.com was the best way; it came quickly and in excellent condition.

This IS 100% Tea Tree oil. Great product, as I'd expect from NOW. I own other essential oils of theirs as well. One gripe I have about this, however: NO DROPPER with this 4 oz bottle! This is the first 4 oz bottle I've bought from them of any kind of essential oil. The others I own are 1 oz bottles, and have built-in tops for getting one drop at a time. Lacking that is NOT A GOOD THING FOR ME!! I generally only use a few drops at a time, and I'm extraordinarily clumsy and have shaky hands! Not having expected the bottle to lack that special top, I was a bit annoyed at having to seek out a separate dropper so I could use this. Oh well. I have one now, but I'm also forewarned. I'm assuming the other 4 oz bottles of essential oil lack the special drop-tops as well. I wonder why? The assumption that if I buy this much as a time I must use larger quantities at once?

Do some research on its properties and uses if you haven't already. This oil is absolutely incredible! Being antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiviral, it has myriad applications. I wont go through them all, as other reviewers have named several, but I can list some of the unnamed uses for it.

MY unique uses: I mix it in a spray bottle with distilled water, and have several uses for this. It's effective in keeping my dog away from plants, and the garbage can, as it's very unappealing to them. As an added bonus, it's disinfecting the garbage can when I use it this way. BEWARE, however, because the oil is TOXIC if ingested, and if I'm not mistaken, I believe I read it shouldn't be used anywhere near cats. Double-check on that before use. I don't own any cats.

You can also use this spray in a travel size spray bottle for a hand sanitizer. No more alcohol, and tea tree is superior. It's even effective at killing MRSA, which is pretty impressive!

I've mixed the oil with my shampoo, made homemade vinegar rinses with it, put it in homemade balms, sugar scrubs, the list goes on. It's great for an ointment for small scratches or bites, applied to ingrown hairs to prevent infection, used in a soak for any fungus on the feet, etc. etc. Some people DO react if it's applied undiluted, though my husband and I have not. This is probably prevented because if I apply it this way, it's only on a tiny spot like an ingrown hair, and applied with a cotton swab. Diluted with a carrier oil, in a balm or scrub, it makes a pretty impressive difference on eczema.

I made a sugar scrub with this (and carrier oils) for my cousin for Christmas. She immediately raved to me about the effect she saw and felt on her psoriasis! :D

It is also ASTONISHINGLY effective at killing mold. I had a pretty bad outbreak of mold in my house once, and as I'm allergic, it was serious. This was my first use for tea tree oil, after research on how to be rid of mold naturally. Even disgusting chemical cleaners and disinfectants didn't rid my house of it, and I'd nearly given up. Suited up with mask and protection, I attacked all the mold with tea tree oil, and it NEVER came back. Careful when spraying in large quantities, however, and wear a mask. This can be very irritating if inhaling the mist or if you get it into your eyes.

I tried clear nail polish, tying my skin tags, everything that I could think of to get rid of these skin tags on my neck. I finally made an appointment to have them removed for the low price of $180.00. (I just could not bring myself to pay that much money because I do not have that many skin tags). I finally read an article that stated tea tree oil removes skin tags. Well I decided to try removing them one more time before my appointment. Tea tree oil definitely removes skin tags. I already have one gone and several more drying up and flaking off. The smell is strong and it does slightly sting when applying but that goes away in about 2 maybe 3 minutes. Nothing unbearable. If you have skin tags that you would like to remove, try this first method first.

I am never without tea tree oil and not loyal to any brand. Just make sure it's undiluted. Always buy 100% Essential Tea Tree Oil. I buy it in 16 ounce bottles. It last a long time.

As long as it's 100 percent tea tree oil I'm good. It works from everything to getting rid of fleas and mange on dogs to lice and ring worm on children. It even dries out a pimple fairly quickly. And if I were ever to have nail fungus I would treat it with tea trea oil before resorting to other medications.

For lice I place a few drops into a dime sized blotch of shampoo and wash kids hair as usual. Then I do the same with their leave in conditioner and then blow dry child's hair completely. Both the heat and the oil kill the lice. To be on the safe side I treat everyone in the house.

Then I soak brushes and combs daily in a water/tea tree oil mix. 40 drops to every 8 ounces of water. You can reuse the water mix if you do this in a bucket.

I also make up the same solution of 60 drops to 8 ounces of water and place it in a spritz bottle so I can spray all our furniture, bedding, clothes, stuffies and whatever else you think might have a louse on it.

I even put 40 drops into my laundry soap and fabric softener. Not the whole bottle, but 40 drops for every wash and rinse cycle. Hope this makes sense.

Sadly, when my children where in elementary school lice was abundant and we had to deal with it on four occasions. The first two times I used the regular products. They are both expensive and not nearly as effective as the tea tree oil, nor as safe. The third time I did two regular shampoos with the chemical ridden shampoos and followed up with tea tree oil regimen that I listed above. That worked great. The fourth time I treated only with tea tree oil regimen and it was super easy to get rid of.

For mange with dogs it's similar as the lice treatment. I place several drops into both their dime sized blob of shampoo and conditioner. I leave in the conditioner. And then spray them down with the sprintzer full of 60 drops of oil to every 8 ounces of water. In between baths I sprintz them down two times a day and rub the solution into their skin. I also spritz their bedding between washes and carpeting and anything they may lie on. I swear it works better than the mange dip I got from the vet and the over the counter mange stuff I bought at the feed store. Plus, it's safer to use than what the vet gives you and smells so much better than what is at the feed store. And most importantly completely gets rid of it.

I also use it in my mop water and my kitchen and bathroom cleaning solutions. I place several drops into my hand soap dispensers. And I even use it to disinfect cuts and other sores. It's really a great product.

I was concerned this might be diluted given the price (although NOW is a very good brand for nutrition supplements, good price and quality, I had not bought any of their essential oils before). This smells pure, clean and strong, works medicinally as well as it should.

Big disapointment after reading all the positive reviews. This thing is oily and does not absorve quickly feels like kicthen oil. I orignaly used Kama Sutra sweet almond oil which is impressive how the skin feels good. I tought I would be saving money by purchasing Now pure almond oil and have same effect as Kama Sutra oil. But I was wrong. This is a lower grade oil and very poor quality.

I just received it and one of the reasons I chose almond oil was because I have bought almond oil before and I LOVED the smell of it. I ran out and decided to get a bigger bottle and saw that it has very positive reviews and ordered it thinking that almond oil would smell like almonds. Seemed like a no-brainer so I didn't even look to find information otherwise. Turns out that this almond oil actually smelled nothing like almonds. It has no scent. While it may be a good moisturizer, I could have bought any other moisturizer. I wanted it for the fact that it is suppose to smell like almonds. It has already failed it's purpose.

I got the container and it had oil seeping out already. Terrible packaging.

While this is a decent oil, I don't appreciate the tricky wording in their advertising or packaging. "Natural" does not mean that it is good for you. NOW Foods uses GMOs in their products, and I didn't find out until after I ordered this. Whether they use it in this exact product makes no difference to me. I refuse to support any company that does, and does not label their products as such. Just Google "NOW Foods uses GMOs". Boo on you NOW, boo on you.

We love the smell and that it doesn't irritate baby's skin. It's been great for cold, snowy/rainy days and absorbs nicely over time.

I don't have a baby to slather this on, but I love Weleda and thought I'd try it for a winter moisturizer. So far I love it. The scent is mild, and it looks like a gel, but it sort of is the texture of melty vaseline. It absorbs better, though, but it lingers on the skin, protecting it. It probably isn't great under makeup or anything but feels fantastic applied at night to give dry winter skin a good moisture boost. It also is a good healing ointment, due to the calendula. I applied it to a scab a couple times and a few days later the injured spot looked remarkably improved.

Buy Weleda Baby Weather Protection Cream Now

If you love the Calendula Cream, this is perfect for your diaper bag. I've found that I use very little of this product on my baby, so I didn't want to purchase another full tube for on the go. I was so happy to find this size available. It's like a small sample size, and it fits perfectly in the small items pocket of my diaper bag. I've used the cream from my big tube a few times, and it really seems to help when Baby's bottom gets red. In fact, I used it myself after delivery. It helped my sore bum from wearing disposable pads for so long (my skin doesn't do well with paper products). I have since found a product that solves my only compliant: it's kind of messy. GroVia Magic Stick is clear and it's like a big Chapstick, so you don't need to wipe off excess cream from applying it. The Weleda cream is thick and it's a bit of a pain to get rid of. I've seen it remain on a cloth wipe after cold water washing, which was a bummer. I haven't tried the magic stick yet, as it is even more expensive and I don't have much trouble with diaper rash. This product gets the job done, and I feel safe using it-it's just more messy.

I initially tried the Giovanni Body Wash while visiting my sister in CA. She said she bought it at Whole Foods, but when I returned home, my Whole Foods did not carry it.

Of course, I checked Amazon and it was there....and for a good price. It was then that I noticed the Body Scrub too. I purchased both items and was so pleased that I did.

First, I love the scent...its very unique. Clean, fresh and not "perfumey"...very natural. I use this both as a Body Wash as well as a bath additive. Its not overly "sudsy" which I like. It rinses well and leaves behind fresh, clean and soft skin. I'm very, very happy with this purchase and will definitely purchase it from Amazon again.

This would make a great gift for the "product" junkies in your life!

I have had pretty good luck with coconut oil. I use it in conjunction with ginger root and a couple of other supplements. The main reason I use it is for immune system enhancement. Since I've been using coconut oil and ginger root I believe that I don't get sick quite as often and when I do get sick I recover more quickly.

Before you try these pills, you might want to look at something called the bloody type diet, I looked at it only after trying these pills and it explained why I instead gained weight instead of losing it. Although the pills helped with my hunger and sometimes gave me that extra boost of energy that I needed.

I won't discourage anyone from purchasing, just do a little more research about your own body. I wish I had.
