I've used this product for years and still love it. I've always put it in my hair before bedtime but when I got married, my husband couldn't stand the smell full strength, although he loved the smell of my hair after washing it (I also use the Ojon shampoo and conditioner, same scent). I have long, thick, course, wavy hair, which means incredibly frizzy if left to it's own devices and nothing else works like this stuff does. I've tried coconut oil, expensive olive oil, creams, foams, you name it. This stuff is still the best! Now I just put it on before a shower for a few minutes because I won't give this up. The original has been reformulated. Oh how I loved the original. Talk about shiny beautiful hair! This may be the older version, I'm not sure. Feel lucky if it is. I know a lot of people were turned off by the smell, but I loved it. It smelled like mocha java with a bit of a smokey tone.. very addictive. I bought Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment a long time ago, could be around 2 years ago, I had still some of the old one when I bought the new one very recently, and I felt the old formula was stronger and better, the smell was stronger and the color was darker, this new one is lighter color and the smell still smoky smell but with a little bit of perfume in it, like the company is trying to disguise the strong smoky smell adding some of other good scent in it. I mean still a good product but I don't feel it as good as the old formula. The smell was never a problem for me, it's true the smell is kind of strong smell, but really the smell goes away when you wash your hair, what I would do with a good smelling product without good results!!! the good smell isn't everything, especially with products for the hair and the skin, I really want on first place good results and second or third place the good smell.Want Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment 3.1 oz Discount?
I have used this product for a few years now and I really like it. I have dry hair and this product gives my hair a light grease for moisture when I add heat to it without being too oily and it smells good.

This product is too thick. I have a Swedish Asko HE washer. Every time I use it, about 1/4 is left clogged in the dispenser when the cycle is done. I have to take the dispenser out and rinse it under a sink. I tried to use less and diluted the product with water, then it didn't work as well. Also, the nice scent doesn't linger after laundry is dry. Maybe it's just my machine, but I'm not very impressed. Wouldn't be buying it anymore.

I have type 4a natural hair and I use to use miss Jessie products but all they did was dry out my hair. I came to find out it was because miss Jessie puts mineral oil in her products. I can witness that carol daughter hair products have no mineral oil and they cost less. I have tried several of CD's products and most have just been OK, or did absolutely nothing special for my hair and even at times seemed like it was making things worse for my hair. However, there have been a few that I think work and does what it says, and this is 1. I am transitioning from relaxed to natural and it just seemed to sit on my hair, not absorb. However, S of M M works best in my opinion to smooth down edges and flyaways while adding sheen. It really works best in my daughters hair (3yrs old) which is naturally curly and delicate. It holds her flyaways nicely and keeps her hair looking neat with no frizzies. A little goes a long way though, because if too much is used it does tend to be too heavy on the hair and will leave product build up. Finding good products that actually work for African American hair types can be a difficult task. I've been on the hunt for good hair products that moisturizes, reduce flakes, safe for relaxed/color treated hair, helps breakage, and doesn't weigh your hair down. I've tried almost everything!! From Soft Sheen (Anti Breakage/Dandruff), Organic Root Stimulator (Carrot Oil, Coconut Oil, Hair Fertilizer), Sulfur 8, Top Brass, Dr. Miracle, Motions, Castor Oil, etc. But I was never completely satisfied with either of those products. I too love the pain relief from the gel sample I got from my therapist. However, when I looked at the ingredients in the "new formula" spray gel, I discovered I can't use it. I have a horrible reaction to anything with arnica in it. I hope they don't change all of their products, because I just found it and that's an ingredient I have to avoid. That's the problem with herbal blends. One ingredient and it's off my list. So many companies blend so many ingredients that it's hard to find something I can use.
