I have been using this kit for about a year now. I don't usually review many things unless I've used them for a while and know that they work like they say they work or don't. Well...this product works!

It comes with a small bottle of biodegradable cleanser. It's only a 2oz bottle so I'm going to try to find this cleanser elsewhere and in bigger quantities. It also comes with essential oils of Lavender, Rosemary, Lemon, and Eucalyptus. These are small bottles that are blue in color to make sure the essential oils are not damaged by sunlight. Remember to not buy essential oils sold elsewhere if they're in clear bottles, they will have no septic properties whatsoever. These are in the nice blue bottles.

Now to make your own Window/Glass/Surface Cleaner. Get a spray bottle from the dollar store and mix 3oz distilled water (I just use bottled water), 1oz distilled white vinegar, 1/2 tsp biodegradable cleanser (I don't add this product anymore since I've run out and it still cleans fine), now add 20-25 drop Lemon essential oil. Recipe also says to use Pink Grapefruit if you're prefer. Citrus oils are astringent and grease cutting. Just don't use this mixture on granite or marble. But this is the best window cleaner. I use it on countertops, stainless steel sink, cabinets. I love it.

Now if you want to make a scrub cleanser similar to Soft Scrub. Mix 1/8c. biodegradable cleanser, 3TB distilled water, 3/4c baking soda (use the real arm & hammer, generics tend to clump), mix together in a spray bottle then add the following pure essential oils: 20 drops of Lavender (antibacterial), 10 drops of Eucalyptus (antiviral) or Rosemary, 5 drops of Lemon (or use orange or pink grapefruit if you'd prefer), and then add 3TB distilled white vinegar (ADD LAST!!) you will get a volcano if you don't. Mix.

Remember that all essential oils are concentrated and should not be used carelessly. Store all cleaners out of reach of children and properly mark all your bottles. I usually re-use the store bought bottle filling it with my home-made recipes...for pennies vs. their expensive price.

Check out this kit though. It's worth it just for the price of the essential oils. And they last forever.
