If you have never heard of neem oil, please look it up immediately. This stuff is fantastic. It is good for so many different things and it was a LIFE saver helping my family get rid of lice and other bugs.
At first the smell was a little overwhelming but after using it for a couple weeks I started to really like it. It's safe to put directly on your body or can be diluted into water or other products. It's also nice to put a few drops in your shower gel or shampoo.
The price is absolutely fantastic for 100% pure neem oil I absolutely recommend this product.

This is neem.I hope you are not expecting a pleasent flavor; many would compare it to the scent of rotting oranges. However, with use, it becomes less offensive to your nose (or at least to mine) and for all the wonderful things you can do with it, who really cares? Just add a little of some other strong oil (like lavender, peppermint, etc.) and it is easily masked.
I use this straight on my nail cuticles to take care of any splitting. It is also GREAT for your hair: I put about two-three full tubes in a spray bottle with deionized water (basically super pure water), and spray it all over my scalp, then rub it in. Encourages hair growth, helps to fight back any flaking from dry scalp, and moisturizes the hair like crazy.
As an added plus, it repells lice. So, that's always a good thing, right? I've been told you can also spray it on pets and their bedding in order to repel fleas; that's always worked for me with the exception of this extremely mild winter in Seattle--for the first time, I've had to go to the chemicals for flea relief.
At any rate, this is a wonderful product at a great price. Check online and in Auyervedic medicine books for other usage ideas!Neem oil is, indeed, an amazing thing, but this price is outrageous. If you buy neem as a "leaf shine" at a garden center, or even off Amazon itself here, you can get EIGHT ounces for just a tiny bit higher price. For 4x the price of this, you can get a QUART (32 ounces) of pure neem. Yes, this is an 800% markup over pure cold-pressed neem oil sold as a gardening product, and it is the exact same thing.
I have no idea what this company is thinking, selling neem at this price, but don't get suckered.
ETA: Since so many people seem convinced that there is some kind of magical difference between this cold-pressed neem and the cold-pressed neem sold in garden centers, I went and bought a bottle of this (not from Amazon, I'm not stupid) and surprise! it is exactly the same. Before you write a comment on this review telling me I don't know what I'm talking about, why don't you get a bottle of each and describe to me what difference you find on the label or in the bottle. Because there isn't one.

Have had some persistent skin rashes, that I ordinarily use antibiotic creams on, but this product is just as effective and costs a bit less. Plus I feel safer knowing its 'natural'. Smells kinda bad, but for what it does, this is a minor issue. Highly recommended.I bought this to assist in clearing up acne scars. It's definitely helped. If you can get past the smell (it smells like the love child of garlic and peanut butter), it's totally doable.
