It has similar qualities to Indian sandalwood, but not quite the same. I find the odor much less pleasant. Be sure you are ordering what you want!

I believe the description of the essential was inaccurate because it has a *little* bit of Sandalwood in Jojoba oil. Its mostly Jojoba oil. No where on description did it state is was Sandalwood in Jojoba oil I believe this is false advertising and Amazon should make sure that all ingredients are listed UP FRONT. I don't know how much Sandalwood oil is actually in there and I would not have purchased it if I had known it was mostly Jojoba oil and a bit of Sandalwood oil. I feel deceived.

I am giving good reviews, because even s.spicatum is expensive. I knew s.album was way highlike 3 times the price of the spicatum, but I was hopeful and it did SAY santalum album. You need to change the picture!
