I bought this to supplement along with the multivitamin for my daughter who has the keratosis pilaris on the back of her upper arms. 1 Tsp per day for her seems to work to keep it under control however I clicked purchase to quickly without realizing the "Organic" label is misleading, no USDA label. Also once received I read that it also contains soy lecithin which I try to keep out of our food ingredients in the house. For the price we'll finish this bottle, but next we'll try one under the Mercola brand.

Bought this because of research I did to up my Vitamin D intake on my Doctor's recommendation. I take 1 1/2 teaspoons per day but will double that during the winter months. One great side effect has been the growth of new hair! My thinning hair has begun to become less sparse and I attribute it to this oil. Have been taking for 3 months and it took that long for me to notice. The oil is easy to take has no real taste and has a light texture. Keep it in the fridge! This was the best tasting cod liver oil I've had it's a good lemon taste and not much fishiness at all.With the fruit punch flavored version, it was more of a cod liver oil taste with a fruit punch aftertaste, where this leads with a lemon flavor and has just a slight oil finish.I did not look well enough at the picture or description apparently. This is lemonade flavored. Ew. I'll be returning it if none of my friends want it.

I suffered in 2011 several close-in-time traumas. It is 2013 and I still have struggles and i am still keeping my life small and very contained. I hope that improves. However I do want to say that during the time it took for me to go through a bottle of this brand's cod liver oil, I had improvements in mood, viewpoint, and longer periods of time without struggle none of which I could attribute to tedious required and not helpful therapy nor to time. My head/ brain simply felt like it was healing. Physically. I am not speaking of a healed / healing psyche nor healing soul wounds nor emotional wounds. And no I can't prove what I know I experienced. I am saying I had better physical brain function. which can help lead to other important healing(s). I am not saying this product is a cure in a bottle for P T S D. I am NOT. I am saying I experienced benefits and like prayer, I found this product probably helped me and for sure did not hurt.I now have this bottle on order to be delivered on a subscription basis by Amazon, and am thankful for that convenience and favorable pricing.
