I am a big fan of the essential oils from Eden's Garden. Everything I've ordered from them has always smelled very clean, fresh and exactly like what you would expect it to smell like. This ginger essential oil was no exception and arrived quickly after ordering. It smells exactly like a fresh root of ginger and the quality is higher than other suppliers I've tried.

My only complaint would be that I'm not crazy about the dropper used within their bottles. The oil comes out too fast if you're not careful, so it can be a tedious process measuring individual drops for a recipe or blend.

I'd never bought ginger oil before and didn't know what to expect. I guess I kind of expected a watered down, slightly sweet generic smell (although Edens Garden has never disappointed me that way) like the ginger scents I've always smelled in the past. I was pleasantly surprised! This stuff smelled so potent I decided to cook with it, figuring it would save me money since I'd no longer have to buy bags of ginger root every time I went to the market. Works like a dream -3-4 drops to a pan, 4-6 to a pot, 2 drops whipped in butter, 2 in a hot cup of tea -it's great! I also use it in my oil burners, alone most of the time because it smells so good on its own; in hair products and as a massage oil for my scalp; and in homemade fabric softener. And last night I discovered it works great in stinky shoes. I'll definitely buy this again!

Smells great. Makes me want to cook with ginger more often! I use it for aromatherapy in my dorm room and it's wonderful. Very strong and definitely worth the money for the amount.
