I love Josie Maran Argan Oil, I had gotten a sample from Sephora. I purchased this because I love the product and had a gift certificate to Amazon.com. When I received it the product was all over the place as if it was opened. There was no product box or anything so I should've suspected something fishy. It doesn't even have the same smell that the product has. I am so disappointed!!!!!!

I'm sorry to say, Aran oil is argon oil. Unless it is something other than 100%, that is. There are other ingredients in tiny amounts in many products that the FDA does not require to be listed because they make up less than a certain percentage, but they do change the formula and can make the argan oil less effective. However, I've tried four different 100% organic argan oils that I believe were actually 100% pure, including this one, and they were exactly the same. I'm not giving this two stars because it's a bad product. Argan oil is fantastic for skin and hair, and it's one of my favorite products. I gave this particular one two stars because the brand is deceiving customers into thinking this oil is somehow better than cheaper ones because it's from a high end brand. This irritates me. Try Mogador certified organic cold pressed argan oil instead. Less than half the price and exactly the same! Don't fall for the hypethe name on the bottle doesn't change what's in it.

Josie Maran Argon oil is my Holy grail cosmetic product BUT the version that is sold by this seller is a FAKE. Verified by authorized seller Sephora and compared to the real product the product I got delivered was a fake version & gave me an allergic reaction, I verified from Josie Maran website customer service that the packaging and details (fine print) on the bottle of the product I received was counterfeit and not the real product.

I love Josie Maran's Argan oil and usually buy it from Sephora. This time I bought it through Amazon and totally regret it. The product came unboxed, label looks a little different from the JM product, and no way am I putting it on my face.

The real deal is great stuff though, just get it from a reputable source.

I received this product and the oil itself seems different from the other two bottles of Josie Maran Argan Oil I purchased from Sephora. The bottle does not have an expiration date, there is no "nutty" smell to the oil (in fact there is no smell at all), and the consistency is not as thick.
