I recently purchased Rosewood Essential Oil from Amazon.com, manufactured by Plant Therapy. This was my first try of this oil from Plant Therapy. Rosewood essential oil is just such a lovely scent, it has a gentle and smooth rose aroma to it, but not overpowering in strength. I will purchase this rosewood scent again, I was that pleased with it. So, I would rate it Excellent, very good packaging, and timely delivery.

Not too overpowering, not too light, best when used with others (I mix it with orange and cinnamon bark for a nice wintry combo).

Since "contact seller" is not an option, here goes. The product was acceptable, but the packaging was not. The lid was not secure and some of the contents spilled out during shipping. I paid for a full bottle, not 3/4 of a bottle. Repackaging and contacting UPS for a return is too bothersome for one item. But I am NOT happy!

I think the oil was contaminated, it smelled like strong plastic. I think it was the plastic reducer in the neck of the bottle, I removed it, but it never really got better. I think the oil started to break down the plastic in that reducer and contaminated the bottle. I ended up throwing it out and ordering another brand Natures Alchemy Essential Oil Rosewood 0.5 oz Liquid I have had good results with which was much better.

I have previously ordered 2 other oils from Plant Therapy and did not have this problem. I was very happy with their Palmarosa, but I have to say I will be reluctant to order again if they are using cheaper plastic reducers/drippers. I only ordered with them in the first place because they were Prime eligible for shipping, lesson learned. I ended up paying for shipping and having to buy another oil to replace this one so it cost me more than twice as much. Again, lesson learned.

I have a big collection of essential oils. I got this one to use in a diffuser, hoping that it would have a woodsy smell to it. It does kind of, but mostly it just smells like furniture polish, kind of citrusy. :\ Not my favorite, but not that unpleasant. Hopefully I'll find some kind of practical or medicinal use for it so it won't just be sitting around.

I'm still giving it four stars because I LOVE that this company puts labels on the tops of the caps. Such a good idea!!
