I love this Clary Sage. It has a unique earthy scent that evokes a fresh green, woodsy and herbaceous environment. I also use it in my baths, which is a perfect way to unwind after a difficult day or week. I hadn't ever used or smelled Clary Sage before but gave it a try after reading the description on the Edens Garden site (Common Uses: Clary Sage is viewed by aromatherapists as an antidepressant, antispasmodic, deodorant, emmenagogue, hypotensive, nervine, sedative, tonic and uterine. It is well known for providing a euphoric action, for balancing uterine issues, and as an agent to clean greasy hair. There is also some documentation of its effectiveness in helping to relax the spasms of asthma.)

Since I was making my own shampoo and conditioner, and I have oily hair I thought it would work well for me and it sure has. I love the earthy smell and even added it to solid deodorant I made, can't wait to try all the other oils they offer!!

If you are not sensitive to the scent this really good. I originally bought it to help me sleep as I read somewhere it can help with that and help with deeper sleep. Over all this has been pretty good. =)

Clary sage oil is relaxing, either used in an oil warmer, or combined with body lotion and cream. For me, the muscle aches disappeared, temporarily of course, and a feeling of calm ensued.
