I bought this soap to use primarily as a hand soap for my childcare. I am a natural and organic childcare, so I choose to use soaps that are natural, too. I was thrilled to find these on Amazon as Castile Soap in stores is typically $7+ for one bottle. It has been wonderful and it is my favorite scent of all time, next to cucumber-melon. It's light and not overpowering, but it's strong enough to make their hands clean and make the bathroom smell like almonds and vanilla. I was happy to discover that it's perfect for refilling the foam soap dispensers; I mix only 1/4 1/2 Castile Soap and the rest water to get the perfect combination. For antibacterial help, I add a few drops of lemon or tea tree essential oil (bought on Amazon, of course). I bought the Ginger scent in this line after the Vanilla price increased and that scent is nice, too, though this is my favorite.good value for the price I paid ($24.98...I see the price has gone up today!). the scent is pleasant, though I don't think i'd pay $37 (the current price) for it.got this product on a "green" sale with Amazon. I like to use the liquid castile soaps to bathe my dogs. Seems to work very well. Not harsh on the skin, either.smells good. each bottle was just over 6 bucks so lets see how far this stretches me. excited to become totally chemical free.My husband likes this and says it doesn't break out his skin like the other soap (the Dr. woods). I like Dr. Woods better because this Shadow Lake is runnier, cloudy, and has a punky background scent once you get passed the almond scent like motor oil. It is very faint way in the background, but, it is a hint of it. Hmmmmm? Makes me wonder about how natural it really is . Sticking to my Kiss my Face in the shower I guess.
