When you buy oils, keep this in mind... When it says camomile oil, it is camomile mixed with other oils, usually olive. when it says Camomile essential oil, it is *only* camomile.

It is an easy mistake to make, since it is not obvious.

I grew up in the Philippines & my mom used this whenever we had a stomachache or gas pains the smell of this chamomile oil is way FAR from what I could remember. Having my own son who is 2 mos old, I knew this would be a neccessity. I was frustrated with the smell because it smelled like vanilla! Also, it stains clothing so most of his onesies has a dark green stain on the tummy. I have to soak them with oxiclean to take the stain out before putting them in the washer. Shipping was fast though, but it's better to look for the brand Rhea.

I've been looking for this in some asian store near me however they don't have stocks. It's good that I checked it out on Amazon.com and I'm glad that I found it. Fast shipping as well. I ended up ordering 2 of these since the shipping fee is higher than the price of the product. Otherwise, I'm glad that I got the chamomile oil for my baby.

I bought this oil to use for scenting soaps and lotions. It's not exactly top quality, but since I'm dabbling in the hobby, I wasn't ready to drop $30 on less than half as much essential oil. So far it's worked fine, and I have no problems with the smell (I saw it noted that it smelled like vanilla extract, but I don't agree). It does color whatever you put it on or in. For cured soap it's hardly noticable, for lotions there's a slight green tint, but it alone will stain white clothes greenish-brown. (Putting it in soap or lotion it's so diluted that I haven't noticed any stains.) Basically it did what I wanted it to at a price I could afford, and you can't hardly argue with that :)
