Many years ago I began using Nioxin after my began to thin out after having surgery. I bought Nioxin at the suggestion of my stylist and noticed that my hair really did look thicker. My hair got healthier and I forgot about Nioxin until recently, when I started losing my hair again due to medications. Make sure that the nioxin you purchase is made in the USA. I bought a bottle from a salon that didn't look or smell right and found it had been made and packaged in Mexico. It was not the same! You can identify the authentic product by it's menthol kind of smell!
