(2008 HOLIDAY TEAM)Pine Oil and Cedar Wood Oil are about the only two scents I can stand in the house. Eucalyptus, Patchouli and Nutmeg are a few that make me truly nauseous. The biggest problem with Exotic oils is that they are so expensive. `NowFoods' oils are a bargain (I mean very cheap), even with shipping & handling. I have a blue ceramic diffuser (or hollow bowl with a space underneath for a small candle) that I place white crystals that grow and become gel-like when wet. Just a half dozen drops of the oil into the crystals and the room is slightly scented. Everyone has their favorite scents and these two oils (Pine and Cedar Wood) are the only ones I repeatedly purchase, as they have such a relaxing effect on me. Shop around, but for the quantity, quality and price, `NowFoods' is the best deal I have found. Initially, I bought Pine Oil 1 oz. EssOil.

The fragrance of the cedar oil is woodsy and calming. I like it a lot. Some claim it is masculine, but I think it is great for anyone who likes the woodland scent.Buy Now Foods Cedarwood Oil Now
cedarwood oil is very relaxing and great before bed-time. try it in the tub at night, or diluted in some oils rubbed on the soles of your feet and legs right before bed. it stimulates melatonin and will help you drift off the sleep. also good this way mixed with some eucalyptus and/or rosemary oil.i use it with my 4 year old daughter and she loves it. our bedtime ritual is rubbing a salve sort of mixture (with oil and beeswax, but not too hard or sticky) with cedar oil and rosemary, eucalyptus onto each others feet while we sit legs stretched out facing each other. it only takes 2 or 3 minutes and it is fun and sweet. you can try it with your significant other too, i think it is a nice little ritual :)

I bought this to mix in liquid soap. I was expecting the typical cedar scent like fresh cut wood. This smells like a wet limb you would find on the ground in leafy woods. It's very "earthy". Not bad, per se, just not what I want to smell like when I shower.I have no doubt that this is a quality product, but if you are expecting the cedar smell that you are used to, you may be disappointed.I bought this oil to put on cedar wood mothballs. So far so good, I haven't seen any moth and the smell is nice.
