Silver Shield Deodorant is an excellent product, in my opinion. However, be aware of a couple of things before you buy the refill. 1) Read the instructions for refilling on the Silver Shield website. Sounds pretty simple, but in reality, it took quite a bit of time and effort to remove the roller ball. 2) Investigate the shipping cost. I found it would've cost less to order off the supplier website since they were running a special. When shipping was calculated in (6.40 at the time!), plus time wresting the roller ball out, it might've been better, and definitely easier, to order a whole new bottle. That being said, I highly recommend Silver Shield deodorant-it really, really works, and seems to be a very healthful alternative. UPDATE: using a cuticle tool from a manicure set to pop the roller ball out works great problem (1) solved.

This deodorant works well and lasts all day. It has no aluminum, which is good for health. Be aware that it is not an anti-persirant so if you sweat a lot, it may not help at all.

I've tried countless numbers of natural deodorants. This one is the ONLY one I haven't STUNK with! LOL! It keeps me fresh for 24 hours or so. I'm glad they have the refills too, makes it more affordable. I cannot use Anti-Perspirant (sp?) because the aluminum gives me a burning back pain in my shoulders and upper back. Thanks Silver Shield for developing something good for us and NOT harmful!

Pretty hard to get top off to refill. Mine and husband mistake we read the directions and tried to get the ball out rather than taking the whole top off. Still hard to do when done right but not impossible like doing it wrong. Using my nails made it much easier.

Will buy again.
