The quality of HerbPharm is great. I used a small (diluted) amount of thuja topically. It took me two applications to realize my light head (lower than normal blood pressure), slight nausea, and the strange taste in my mouth was from this product. WebMD lists the first two symptoms as possible side effects from oral use. If it can can pass the skin barrier, some of the same side effects can occur w/ topical use. I'm obviously sensitive to thuja (from a cedar), though I have no tree allergies. I was fine after several hours. I urge caution when using this product. Herb side effects can be tricky to check out. Many medical sites don't list them, and many herb sites gloss over side effects.

I've done a lot of research on thuja and found this on Amazon...a very good product at a very good price. Skin tags? Warts? This could help. Applied 3x a day and covered with a band-aid, you could be free of these annoying skin thingys. Of course, it's generally understood that it's through the skin that the body eliminates toxins, and that issue, combined with a possible nutrient deficiency might be the cause--so aiming to fix the wart without taking in the whole body could be like trying to empty the ocean with a teaspoon, if you catch my drift. Or, it could be an underlying health issue, which could be different for each person... Some of us need to address what's going on inside first before we can take care of the outside...That being said, it's a wonderful, evergreen-y smelling product that has hundreds of drops in a bottle, so it will last you a long time. My mother-in-law used it for a wart on the inside of her nose and noticed the wart shrinking after about 4 weeks. I have used it on my Lab who has a doggie papilloma on her head. She doesn't mind having the thuja put on, and it seems to be helping.
Bottom line: Go for the herbs before you reach for the drugs. They take longer to work, but the results can be great and your body will thank you for it. Besides, this Thuja is not expensive. Why not give it a try? Read the label, educate yourself, then decide.

I just applied once daily to a small wart on my finger put it on the day I noticed it and then wrapped with a bandage (which I also changed daily). This worked in 4 days. Wart is almost all gone...just small discoloration of where it was at. Amazing stuff.Read Best Reviews of Herb Pharm Thuja Extract Here
This product seems to be working on the warts my Serior Cocker Spaniel has all over her body. They are not a problem except in appearance and having so many makes it difficult for the groomer to clip her without cutting a wart. They appear to be getting smaller in size and hopefully will go away. My vet told it is a virus that causes them and this is the extract that was recommended. I understand that herbal remedies take time to actually work, slower than western medicine. But they also treat the actual problem and not just the symptoms. I just ordered another bottle of the extract. Fingers crossed :)The freeze off products didn't work for me. This worked within a few days where I could get layers of the wart down. It is almost gone, I'm very happy with this. Going to try skin tags next.
