I am a big fan of natural and organic products and was very excited about trying this oil thinking I could substitute my Tarte one for this.
First of all, the oil came in a dropper bottle with a homemade label, and the claim that it is an organic oil is not substantiated by any certification. The oil smells like the taste of maracuja mixed with wax.
I started using the oil both day and night, but discontinued the morning application because the oil did not absorb well into the skin; it felt heavy and greasy. Because I still wanted to see if it would yield any positive results, I continued using it at night time, but after several weeks of waking up with a shiny and greasy face, I finally gave up on it.
I went back to my Tarte's oil because it absorbs better on my skin and it makes it luminous without being heavy.
Tarte is also cheaper when you consider that a 1.7 oz bottle is $46 versus the $31 (including shipping) that you pay for 1 oz. of this one.
