I first discovered Thieves oil from a friend in my Women's Chorus. I had gotten sick and a week later I was supposed to sing in a concert. She gave me the rest of her spray bottle and she advised me to spray it at the back of my throat. I started getting better almost immediately!

Now, every time I feel like I am getting sick, I spray it at the back of my throat a couple of times a day. It works equally well if you are already sick, or if you are coming down with something.

Now I have to keep it in my purse. It also works for fungal and bacterial infections on the skin (acne, etc).

I purchased this product in the hope that it would be helpful for sinus drainage and occasional dry throat after using an application twice a day for two weeks, it helped my problem very well I highly recommend this product. It is great to relieve minor throat irritation, etc.

ADDENDUM TO MY REVIEW ABOVE

I recently had an experience which showed the real power of this product for some reason and after not having the problem for many many years I developed a number of sores on my upper lip these are painful, spread easily up to the nose, and are very embarrassing. Considered going to the doctor my wife said why not try THIEVES SPRAY. So, I did amazing within a week all sores are gone and the scabs have fallen off an ugly story, but very important if you have these things I think that my parents called these "canker" sores they were awful my reading tells me that the theory is that these little guys are on us and if our "resistance" goes down they attack. Anyway, THIEVES SPRAY, applied not by spray, but with a moistened Q tip works magic on these pests.

Love the smell of this product, although the smell is quite strong. I was very disappointed that it came in a plastic spray bottle. For the price and the reputation of the company I thought for sure that they'd have their product packaged in a glass bottle.
