Okay, I may have some issues about moisturizers...I use them multiple times throughout the day. I have moisturizer bottles stashed everywhere. I cannot stand dry skin (see, I told you I have issues...). After trying pretty much every brand out there, I can honestly say that this is the best moisturizer I have ever used. It is not greasy. It smells great. And the most important part: It keeps your skin incredibly moisturized. Buy this product!!!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I just finished my bottle of Hempz that I bought from a reputable salon. I really liked the product, the smell and the quality. I went on Amazon to buy 2 bottles from this seller and when I received it, the lotion had burst everywhere, and to my dismay I noticed that the product inside is NOT a Hempz product!

The contents are filled with a CHEAP bubblegum scented lotion as many of the reviewers have mentioned. The quality of the lotion is very much like the cheap lotions that the nail salons use and buy in bulk for a cheap price!

Its a shame that this seller is ruining the reputation of HEMPZ since the real scent is actually very nice. I suspect that most of the reviewers here are first time buyers so they are not aware of the high quality of Hempz.

I am very dissapointed and will try to return both the bottles I bought.

Propylene Glycol A colourless, volatile, flammable liquid produced by fermentation of yeast and carbohydrates. Alcohol is frequently used as a solvent. As an ingredient in ingestible products, alcohol may cause body tissues to be more vulnerable to carcinogens.

Mouthwashes with an alcohol content over 25% have been implicated in mouth, tongue and throat cancers. Note, the forms of alcohol used in cosmetics are not necessarily those used in alcoholic drinks, and may be much more dangerous.

Propylene Glycol

A cosmetic form of mineral oil found in automatic brake and hydraulic fluid and industrial antifreeze. In the skin and hair, propylene glycol works as a humescent, which causes retention of moisture content of skin or cosmetic products by preventing the escape of moisture or water. The Material Safety Data Sheet warns users to avoid skin contact with propylene glycol as this strong skin irritant can cause liver abnormalities and kidney damage.

If you're like me, you probably have several bottles of half-used lotion in your bathroom cabinet that just don't match up to the advertisement you saw on TV. And then I discovered Hempz Herbal Moisturizer. I first received it as a gift from my dad (I'm a girl) and was skeptical that I'd like a lotion that he uses. Well, I was more than surprised when I first put Hempz on my skin. I haven't used anything else on my skin for over a year now. The texture of this moisturizer is thick and smooth; it absorbs easily into your skin, leaving it moist but not greasy. I apply Hempz at night before going to bed and then very lightly in the morning and my skin stays moist all day. It's great in the winter, especially if you live in a cold/dry area like I do. And the scent is mild enough that perfume/cologne can be worn without too many over-powering scents. To put it simply, this is the best lotion I've ever owned.
