I became pregnant with my first child just after my 41st birthday, and was really worried that I would get bad stretch marks as, due to my age, my skin just doesn't have as much collagen as younger skin. Also, I think I am prone to stretchmarks, as I actually got some in puberty when my hips grew! I am tall and slender, but for whatever reason, when my hips grew, I got those darned stretchmarks and have always hated them. But I digress...

Okay, so when I was pregnant I was determined to do everything I could to keep my developing baby safe, but also to keep my body healthy and looking good. I ate really well, did prenatal yoga daily, took prenatal vitamins and extra Vitamin C, as I had read that it could help to improve collagen in my skin. I also used Organic Ellasti*Belly Stretch Mark Miracle Caviar religiously, every morning and night. The stuff smells amazing. Such a fresh, citrusy smell...yum! I think it actually helped to calm me, too, when I was feeling a bit...er...ornery due to pregnancy hormones.

I am thrilled to report that, despite my belly getting GARGANTUAN during my pregnancy (I gained 35 pounds), I do not have ONE stretch mark from this pregancy! I can't say whether it was this product exclusively, any of the other things I was doing, or the combination of all...but whatever it was, IT WORKED! And I lost all of my pregnancy weight, so it is pretty amazing to me that I don't have any pregnancy stretch marks.

I recommend this product highly. It is silky, soft, not at all greasy, easily absorbed, smells great, and makes your skin feel supple. And I dare say, I think it really does help to prevent stretchmarks!

I love the product! I've tried several stretch mark products of different brands and finally find it. I decided to give it a try because it's organic, and safe for the pregent. The smell is so pleasant when I open the jar and it absorbs very quickly into the skin with no greasiness. As a large amount of it will be applied each time, I guess I'll run out of it pretty soon. Probably I'll buy the larger size next time for the economic reason. The price is really not that charming but can be acceptable.I'm now pregent for 5 months and will come back to give a further review on whether it works on the stretch marks after I deliver my first baby.If it does work on preventing stretch marks, I think it worth the price!

I'm now going to the 31st week of pregnancy. Unfortunately, I got stretch marks almost through a night! Maybe the product just moistens the skin but not be effective in preventing stretch marks! What a pity!

First of all...cut the "tail"off people, lol. Unless your kid is just up for a challenge, don't even bother trying to chew these. They euphemistically call the capsules "fish burstlets", but they really are basically like little digestible plastic fish, with the oil encapsulated inside. Chewing them really isn't all that pleasant of an experience. But, once you get past any feelings of being duped by the "chew & burst" wording on the package, and just cut them open & squeeze the "precise dose of fruity fish oil" straight into your child's mouth, then the experience really is fairly pleasant. My kids really like flavor of the straight fish oil...which is a win in my book!

I bought this product because my son is not getting enough DHA from his regular diet and it was on sale. I couldn't get my son to chew the capsule because he didn't like the weird texture (plus it doesn't melt that easily). So, I squirted the oil in his lemonade. The berry flavor masked the fishy taste but only because it was mixed with a strong juice. He didn't even know the vitamin was there. However, you might not want to mix this in a plastic cup unless you are prepared to soak the cup in soapy water for a day or 2 to get rid of the smell. I will keep trying to find ways to give this to him and will update on effectiveness after a month.

I love this perfume. It has a clean scent with a subtle hint of floral. It is not one of those overwhelming floral scents. To me, it strikes a perfect balance, with the top note being a zesty clean scent, then tapering off to add the floral hint.

I disagree with the other reviewers about the aroma and runniness.

I find the aroma pleasant and NOT overpowering when the right amount of product is applied. Don't overapply ! A modest amount is fine, but it needs to be massaged deeply into the skin, for best reults. This is true about "runniness," too. If the correct amount is used it is absorbed and does not run. It should be applied when the facial skin is still supple after a shower, or slightly damp, for best absorbtion and protection.

The reason I purchased the Nivea Essential Protection Lotion is because it provides better comfort after shaving than their shaving balm. Since it is a moisturizer, it does just that without the alcohol sting of the shaving balm. Plus the lotion is SPF15 for mild sun protection. I found the scent to be light and pleasant, unlike the shaving balm which does have a stronger fragrance and I did receive comments about it's scent. Lastly, online seems to be the only place to find this product as it has been removed from the shelves every retail drugstore where I used to buy it. I highly recommend the product.

The UV index is going up in Austin and this is my go to daily protection for face and neck. But, of course, you can use it year round for daily skin care. I have used this product for years because it does not have, to me, a discernible scent. It never clogs pores and absorbs very well. It hydrates your face and makes your skin smooth. I get fewer nicks and cuts when shaving if I remember to use it. Lastly it provides decent UV protection.

It is also a good value. Each tube lasts a long time. You don't need that much and it spreads well. I get at least 4 months per tube. So while it might seem expensive, a 4 pack is going to give you a year and half to 2 years of use.

I've used many lotions on my face and they tend to cause black heads and pimples even though I'm beyond the age of that. This lotion however does not. I have been using it for about 2 years and it's great. Highly recommend it, it is scented but not too over powering.

When the doctor told me that I had a severe Vitamin D deficiency, I was stricken with the fear that I might be forced to take those nasty fish oil pills for the rest of my life. You probably know the kind: unnervingly translucent, smelling vaguely of rotten fish, hundreds of free fishy burps per bottle. Fortunately, I ran across Carlson Labs liquid fish oil products and gave them a go. I've tried several of their liquid cod liver oil products now and have been very impressed with the quality of all of them. To me, there's really no fishy taste when going down or any lingering fishiness trying to work its way back up. For me, I really like this Super D product because it has a very high concentration of Vitamin D, which is what I need with my deficiency being so severe. I've been taking this now for a number of months and my Vitamin D levels are all looking good now. I really highly recommend this if you've got a substantial Vitamin D deficiency like I did.

If you're not Vitamin D deficient though, you might want to take a look at Carlson's other cod liver oil products so that you don't overdo it on Vitamin D. You'll still get all the other great heart and health benefits like the Omega-3 fatty acids. It's worth noting that Vitamin D is one of the fat soluble vitamins so it's possible to overdose (though my primary care physician has told me that that's very difficult to do, especially considering how so many Americans have some degree of Vitamin D deficiency). As always, the best thing to do would be to consult your doctor and probably get your Vitamin D levels checked. I had no idea that mine was so low.

Update (8/17/2012): I just recently had my Vitamin D levels rechecked. While they're still in a range considered "normal" (between 30 100), my Dr. mentioned that there is emerging research that seems to suggest that levels above 50 or even 75 may be ideal. Next time you're in to see your doctor, talk with them about getting tested and what the optimum levels should be. Vitamin D is so crucial to so many different processes and systems in our bodies that deficiency can be a significant hindrance to your health and wellness.

I've been taking this product for about a year and have noticed two add'l benefits.

1. A reduction in canker sores (mouth ulcers) with shorter duration if they do occur.

2. Improved skin reduced adult acne.

I recommend it for it's intended heart health benefits but also for these additional "side effects".

Fish oil just isn't what you imagine putting on a salad or swigging a gulp or two everyday, you know? My father used to take a daily swig of cod liver oil and we kids thought that was just awful. Funny how things change. I have become accustomed to the flavor of this oil with its lemon flavor and do use it on my salads with red wine vinegar and herbs. It took several tries before I stopped noticing the difference in this oil from the olive oil I'd been using, but now it seems just fine. On the Carlson's Web site, they actually solicit recipes using their flavored fish oils. Seems a bit strange, but you might want to check it out. If you aren't going to use it up within about 6-8 weeks, I'd put it in the refrigerator. I have had some burp-y times with oil that was a bit older and hadn't been refrigerated. I believe Carlson's is the best fish oil you can buy!

I have used this product over a few months. I can say it does not repeat at all, the taste is rather pleasant and not strong. If you follow directions and take with food, you will have no problems with the CL omega 3/D oil.

Having said that, I have not checked my vitamin D level since I started using the oil, so cannot verify that it actually boosts it, but will do post an update when I do so.

Also, the math is wrong if the cost is $24.48 for 8.4 oz then we have $2.91/oz! Is AMZN misleading people?

The fragrance is quite enjoyable. But i had to constantly administer the warmer by adding water, adding drops of the oil and so forth because the fragrance seemed tentative and if everything was not just perfect it would be very weak to overpowering. Others may do better with it than I since I'm a rookie at this. However, I've gotten other fragrances from Amazon that are 5 star and work very nicely.

There are cheaper & ubiquitous shave soaps but they always make my skin breakout from the irritation. Cheap, poor lather does NOT protect you no matter what excellent razor you use. I've used AoS' after shave balm for many years without any problems, but I decided to try the ocean kelp because I liked the smell. This is one time when I wish that AoS had a more liberal return policy!

It's completely different from the traditional balm. You have to use a TON of it (at least 10-12 squirts) and it absorbs impossibly fast. I'm giving this three stars because of the smell and the fact that I think the fast absorbtion might actually be a GOOD thing in hot weather (as the balm can, admittedly, bet a little runny). I received this after shave as a gift, I do not usually use after shave balms because they tend to break me out and make me feel greasey, but AoS Ocean Kelp absorbs quickly and evenly and keeps my face smooth and soft without causing me to break out. The scent is awesome and the balm is soothing. Unfortunately the price tag is unacceptably high. I would have no issues buying this balm if it were priced $10-$15 cheaper, but at its current MSRP, even though it's a quality product, I won't be buying this balm again.

I've used this product for several years now, whenever I feel sinus pain coming on from airborne allergens. The menthol and peppermint are soothing to the tissues and helps get through work or whatever is necessary to work out the inflammation. I recently started using the nasal washes too. Perfect to put in my purse or travel kit. I bought two so I could have one with me and one at home. I recommend this product to anyone who struggles with sinus allergies and sinusitis pain.
