Our friend is a doctor and he did all kinds of research on fish oil/omega(he's rather OCD). Liquid Carlson Fish oil (1+ TBL) is the best, but tastes gross and can cause LOOSE stools. He feels that this product is just about as good and the best quality and largest dose of omega one can get in pill form. I have been taking it for 3 weeks now. I didn't do the 2 X a day because it upset by digestive system, but 1 is perfect. I have given it to my brother for Christmas as a gift. Other friends that have been taking it for 1 year, have seen changes in their skin, nails, & hair. So I am sure it is helping the "inside" of my body. It's so much easier than taking 5 or six pills of regular omega, plus it's safer and better quality.

A little pricey, but finally a fish oil capsule without a fishy aftertaste. It DOES smell & taste slightly fishy right out of the box, which is why I give it four stars rather than five. However once you swallow it, it goes down smoothly and there's no lingering taste or fish burps. This is the only fish oil I can tolerate.

I used Vectomega for a few weeks and liked the product. The product does smell slightly fishy and has a mild fish-like taste, but it wasn't a problem once I swallowed it. I can't say I felt any different when taking them, but I can say that I didn't have fish burps. Then, about a week in, I woke up to a terrible itching on my head and my chest. The next morning I discovered that I had a really bad rash all over. I took medication for the rash, but decided to stop taking Vectomega just be on the safe side. I then talked with my dad, who also is taking Vectomega, and he said he is having the same experience. With the pill causing the rash and being more expensive than other fish oil pills, I have decided that Vectomega isn't a product I will buy in the future.

recommended by my physician who has abs no financial interest prompted me to try this product, I used to take the oil caps but this is much better tolerated due to lack of aftertaste and published reports on effectiveness and I am sold, no GMO that I am aware of, so concerned about Fukishima and compromise of quality, feel this is superior option for O3 intake... more expensive tho, would like to know of any better options, thus far, none....high recommend!

These are by far the best omega-3 tabs I've ever taken. No fishy burps! They DO smell fishy once you pop them out of the foil, but just avoid smelling them if that's an issue. My midwife recommended these for third trimester pregnancy to help baby's brain develop. They're pricey, so I probably won't continue taking them after the baby is born, but definitely recommended for pregnant women.
