I started using this brand of krill oil several months ago and have been quite pleased with it. There are only a few brands out there that sell the 1000mg caps and I feel that the price is very competitive. Also,some of the other brands will advertise a 1000mg dosage but it requires taking two 500mg caps. I switched to krill oil, after years of taking fish oil caps, primarily because of several articles that I read stating that heavy metals were being found in some of the fish oil brands. The well-known brand (of fish oil) that I had used and trusted for years was one of them. Some of the reviewers have complained about difficulty in swallowing the caps and of fish flavored burps. I have not had these problems and I would say that they are the result of variations in each individual's digestive system.

So I decided to try Good n Natural, and the first 2 bottles were excellent: no fishy taste, and a great value at the price.

Then the third bottle from NutriPlus Tea arrived, and the experience was awful. Terrible fishy smell, terrible fishy taste--barely palatable. Blech! I think it was because one or more of the capsules leaked its contents into the bottle. Unfortunately, I waited for more than 30 days to open my package from NutriPlus Tea, so I cannot return or replace it. Sigh.

Make sure you open your package before the return policy expires, and you should be OK.

This is a great deal, similar price to other products that try to rip you off by selling 60 500 mg tablets while listing the serving size as 1000 mg and saying you take 2 a day, with this bottle you really get 60 days worth, 1 tablet a day.

For what it's worth, I always check oil quality by biting into a softgel from a new pack, and while krill oil always tastes quite bad, this brand tastes much better than both Source Naturals Neptune Krill Oil and Schiff Mega Red, which leads me to believe it is higher quality.

Finally, what makes krill oil superior to omega 3s from fish oil is the astaxanthin, and this krill oil has a decent amount, 1500 mcg in each pill.
