Aura cacia is a good company with standards I can rely on. All essential oils come from a variety of places, but almost all companies must obtain them from the same sources. Purity testing, re-bottling, and attention to quality of the extraction process is what all companies must do. This particular oil is one used to calm children and mixes well with other EO's. I have a decent diet, but probably don't eat as much fruits and vegetables as I should. Because of this, I tried taking a multi-vitamin for a while, but didn't notice any difference. Maybe it worked, but maybe it didn't. Who knows?

I have moderately high cholesterol (genetic it doesn't go down even when I eat really healthy) and take a mild statin; however, my wife is a nurse and told me that I should be taking fish oil. I weigh about 200 pounds and am a fairly large guy, so I've been taking 6 pills a day (3 in the morning and 3 at night). The gel caps have a mild caramel flavor and the fish oil is orange flavored, but very mild. Sometimes I swallow them whole, but sometimes I chew the capsules, drink the oil and discard the shell. Either way works fine.

I previously had somewhat chronic rashes on my legs, but they have gone away after taking fish oil for a month. I also had some joint pain in one of my hips, which has gone away too. Maybe it is all in my head, but my hair even seems shinier and healthier.

It is nice to take a supplement and to actually see noticable benefits. Also, this supplement claims to remove mercury from the oil, so I feel safe taking it.

If you do the monthly shipment plan, the cost is very reasonable. One note the monthly plan does not give you Amazon prime shipping, but since you are getting free shipping every month, it shouldn't matter too much.

This is my favorite brand (and "flavor") fish oil because it's the only one I've tried that doesn't give me fish burps. I find that taking fish oil on a daily basis (which I don't always do due to laziness) really makes a difference in my overall health. It especially helps with acne and oily skin. Acne is partially related to errors in fatty acid metabolism, and omega 3s help normalize this.

The candle is large, the tin good, but the scent is so-so when it comes to lavender. An unscented candle with a few drops of real lavender oil would probably be a lot better.

I have been using this sunscreen daily under makeup. As another reviewer mentioned, it goes on white/thin/watery and feels sticky AT FIRST. In a couple of minutes it seems to soak in and my liquid or powder makeup goes on nicely right over it, with no white residue. It actually evens my skin tone a bit and blurs pores/blemishes. So far, it has done a great job preventing sunburn too, which is it's primary purpose. My skin is very troublesome: sensitive/acne prone/pre-rosacea/oily and I find this does not get shiny or greasy later in the day and causes no irritation whatsoever. I just bought my second bottle (since its on sale, I like it but would NOT pay forty bucks for this!), I hope it's as good as the first!

This sunscreen has all the right natural ingredients unfortunately the texture is thick and heavy and it leaves a slight white tint on the skin.

Finding a non chemical sunscreen that doesn't leave you looking "ghostly" has been very difficult.

For the price this should be that sunscreen.

I was expecting this lotion to be for everyday use under my makeup. I found this on the EWG website, and thought I would try it out. The consistency was so watery, it was not like lotion at all. Once rubbed in, and after the whiteness soaked in, the lotion felt sticky on my face. The pump for the bottle is not that great either, it was spraying everywhere. I felt like this was more like suntan lotion, but I expected more due to the cost. I will be returning the product.

I have loved the Nordic Naturals brand for many years they DO deliver on value, but boy are they proud ($ wise) of their products. I recently found the Minami brand, similarly excellent at a better price YES I did switch. And yes I am happy.

I have tried a wide variety of oils over the years (since early '80's);

Carlson is a great brand & steady performer no surprises, not the best/worst but a good solid dependable product year after year.

Nordic Naturals are really 'best of class' standards wise, product wise, but not price wise this is always the most expensive, even on sale.

Minami seems to have the same 'best of class' standards wise, product wise, & very approachable price wise ;-) my new fave.

I may have to give it some time & re-vamp my words on Minami, but...that's another day ;-) Hope this has helped you in your journey.

One time it will be super effective almost to the point of uncomfortable, the next application I will feel nothing from it, at all. It is like smearing some bee's wax on that smells funny. I purchase many of soothing touches products for my therapy practice and bought this to try out since I have been very pleased with their other products. After a month of use, I will be sticking to polar lotion which provides the same amount of relief every application with a better consistency.
