After studying up on insect repellents by using natural oils, I got several different ones and began making my own products. I use this Cinnamon Bark EVERYWHERE! I don't think that it's the best ever but it works pretty well for me. I apply it one foot at a time while sitting in the bottom of the tub; once a week after showering. I massage/rub it all over my foot for a few minutes; then to the next foot. Then I turn on the tub faucet and rinse them off. My feet stay pretty smooth all week but I also engage in other foot care practices. I moisturize my feet after showering everyday and then sleep with socks on (unless I kick them off). Almost everyday I wear shoes that require socks, so my feet are never really exposed to the elements. I also have a foot rasp that I'll use to scrub my feet before, after or in lieu of this paste. I'm going to keep shopping around for a great food scrub but this one might be one of the best that I've used so far.

I have terrible calluses, and this is the only scrub that has ever really helped. It doesn't get rid of them completely, but it helps more than other products I've tried. I keep a fan running in the bedroom at night and I thought that would help move the scent around the room, but it did not do that. Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I don't know why any company would claim that the scent lasts 30 days you go in completely skeptical, but when you realize that, as always, this is an overblown claim, you're still disappointed and feel cheated since they DID promise 30 days!

The scent is very nice; had I not gotten it through Vine, I would have gone with the lavender scent, however since I was getting it for free, I thought I would live dangerously and try the "warm milk & honey." It's a very pleasant scent; not too strong, but fragrant and soothing.

I think that if placed in a contained area a closet, or small bathroom then it would last longer and I would be happier with the product. After about 2 weeks, I could only smell it if I was leaning down right next to it and since I had placed it in my bedroom, any scent it might have still been giving off was easily dispersed.

BOTTOM LINE: if these were $1 each, I might buy them, but otherwise, I think I'll skip. I use Febreze sprays that work really well, no need to use this.

I did not know how much it helped till I ran out. At age 59 I still have problems with oily skin and acne. This product really helped with the inflammation from acne and reduced the oil as well. Ointments, creams, soaps, antibiotics. I have tried them all to manage the inflammation of my skin known as rosacea. For the last several months I have great success with a combination of New Chapter Wholemega salmon oil (New Chapter Wholemega 1000mg (120), 1000mg, 120 softgels) (2x per day) and New Chapter Omega 7 (2x per day). My skin is smooth and pimple-free. When I ran out of the Omega 7, I noticed inflammation within a couple of days. After resupplying the inflammation is gone again. Hurray for Omega 7 and hurray for New Chapter.

The only downside is the cost, but I guess the extraction process is expensive. Bottom line is it's worth it to me.

I have suffered from asthma and allergies my whole life and whenever I feel tightness in my chest I breath it in right from the bottle and it gives me instant relief. This would be a 4.5 with me if there were finer increments of grades to choose. I have several Nature's Kiss therapeutic grade essential oils to compare with the higher price DoTerra oils as my supply of those begins to run out. Frankly I have found that the comparison can go either way--there is usually a difference, but my preference is not always clearly for one over the other [On a sniff test alone, I'd choose the Nature's Kiss sandalwood over DoTerra, and it's a tie for the frankincence.] In this case, the ginger scent of the DoTerra oil was fresher straight out of the bottle, a more purely ginger scent than the Nature's Kiss. Nature's Kiss is not a bad scent, just not as purely ginger. After a short time with one sample on each wrist, I could not have choose which was more pleasant. They were still slightly different, but both very nice.

Given the tremendous price differential, and that both brands would rate a 4 or 5 with me, I will almost certainly continue to order Nature's Kiss when it's time for a replacement. The cost of DoTerra's glitzy advertising and MLB marketing is surely a large part of the price differential, and their shipping costs are usually much higher as well.

I have read in several aromatherapy books that Ylang Ylang is an essential oil that a person is either drawn to or not. This seems to be the case just from reading the reviews here on Amazon.

Interesting to note also that Ylang Ylang is one of the ingredients in the pricey perfume, Chanel No. 5, which has been very popular for about 60 years. To me, this bottle of Ylang Ylang from Plant Therapy was sweet euphoria right out of the bottle~and much cheaper than Chanel No. 5. It also made my tension headache go away instantly! I ordered five oils from this company. I received the first four today, and it was a mixed bag...The Ylang Ylang oil arrived with the seal already opened (my Lemongrass oil had the same issue), which concerns me from a safety/hygiene perspective, so I returned it. It also happened to smell terrible; it had an almost caustic aroma. I was pleased with the blended oil that I purchased (Citrus Burst), so I think that if I make more purchases I'll stick to the mixes that Plant Therapy makes. I am new to essential oils, and to be fair, perhaps I'm just not yet comfortable with the strength of the individual scents like the Ylang Ylang. As for it being open, I'm willing to forgive that since Amazon has such a good returns policy.

I absolutely love this product! If you are looking for a good hair oil or grease, try the Keracare essential oils. I have relaxed hair and every oil I've used in the past makes my hair look greasy and dirty but this one doesn't! I've been using Keracare Essential Oils for about 3 1/2 years now and it has completely upgraded the quality of my hair, which is both relaxed and color treated. These oils are readily absorbed by the hair and they give it such a nice shine while protecting it from damage. It's great as a thermal stying product, guarding against heat from curling/straightening irons and blow dryers. Since there is no petrolatum, mineral oil or lanolin, the product does not dry out or merely sit on top of the hair.
