I'm 65, female, and have used this product for decades with great success. Unfortunately, over the last two years, I've tried "OTHER" more expensive, anti-aging products which frankly have done nothing for me. Until 63, I had practically NO wrinkles on my face. Perhaps that's genetics, careful sun exposure, or perhaps years of using this Olay hydrating fluid had something to do with it -don't know. But after spending way too much money for the last 2 years on "other" expensive anti-aging products without using this -AND getting LOTS more wrinkles in the process -I'm going back to using this as my primary facial hydrator. Most of the other products are just temporary fold fillers anyway that you must continue to use to see any benefit under a microscope.
Back to using this now for 30 days, and I love it don't know why I ever stopped. The hype on everything else I guess. I would recommend this for anyone. I think there is also a sensitive skin version if needed, but this original formula isn't harsh. It's not tauted to be "anti-wrinkling", but for me, it's one of the best skin hydraters/moisturizers going down. It's NOT greasy. On a clean face, it just immediately absorbs into the skin, giving you very soft skin and an instant pink healthy tone, and it absorbs very quickly with NO afterfeel like many products. Years ago, it used to have a stronger smell, now it doesn't so much so I think I'm going to have my husband begin using it under his water based sunscreen as he's in the sun everyday. And . . . for what it does and the amount you get, the price is definitely right. You can "lather" it on and not worry about cost.
In the past I always used it morning and night, before putting on makeup, immediately after a shower, after being in the sun, or even mid-day if the days are hot and dry. I also use it on my neckline, lips and all over my face, including eyelids and under the eyes. Used it UNsparingly. It's inexpensive compared to most "facial" products. Sometimes I'll put it on the top of my hands as well.
Works for me, and I'm going back to this together with an occasional use of a night-time cream after an occasional harder scrub.
Aging is a normal process, but hydrating, I think, has proven to be one of the best things to do for your skin at least for me.

I've been using a different moisturizer but after I moved to SF, my old one did not work. My skin started to dry within minutes of applying an oily moisturizer. So I started to look for a better one, non-greasy but still efficient. This is the first time I am using this and it's one of the best moisturizers i've ever used. Its not greasy at all. And smoothes all over the face. No matter how much i apply it does not make my face oily. This is the best thing i like about this. and I can apply makeup over it. Or just apply mascara and lip gloss. I just wish it had sun protection. But thats ok for me, since my make up foundation has it. It would balance it out. I plan to carry one in my purse all the time, since its so light weight and still works. It has a mild fragrance, which is ok with me.

I've used this moisturizer since I was an older teen. We weren't thinking about the brand, just grabbed a moisturizer. I immediatelly liked how well it got absorbed. For me, it's GREAT under make up. I've used other moisturizers since, but in warmer temperatures I sweat around my nose, and I constantly have to wipe it off. I ended up going back to Olay Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid and the problems went away. I have dry skin, and don't like thick moisturizers. This one is perfect for me!!! As long as this one is around, I will be using it.

You've got to spread it quickly before it sets, it's sticky, and moisturizing properties are minimal! Maybe if you have dewy, normal skin this would moisturize sufficiently, but it doesn't smell as good as 'back in the day' either, and they've added something to make it thicker. Used to smell much nicer though it was runnier.
Granted, I have slightly dry skin and I do like a heavier, almost greasy feeling moisturizer. I feel and see almost no effect from using this though. Waste of money.
