I wish I'd purchased a non-flavored version. This stuff has some powerful taste to it, and not fishy. I mix it with juice and can get it down. No way i'd try it by the spoonful. I'll find out in a few months what effects it has on my blood numbers.

I wasn't thrilled about having to take a liquid form of fish oil, but in my research, it seems to be the best way to take this supplement. However, it's completely tolerable and there is no fishy taste at all! Also, no fish burps even though Ive been taking it 1st thing in the morning and don't eat breakfast until much later. The biggest "surprise" the 1st time I took it wasn't at all the taste, but the oiliness. I was so worried about the taste I didnt even think about that. I got over that by the 2nd dose simply because I was expecting it. No big deal at all now.I also like that you only take it once a day, and don't have to think about it again! Keeping it in the refridgerator is also a nice convenience since I keep it right next to the coffee cream-so I always grab it along with the creamer for my morning coffee.
I'm only on day 5...so have yet to notice any benefits, but will update this review when I finish the bottle.
My only ick about this is the price. But at least I know that I'm getting all that it has to offer, rather than throwing my money (& potential benefits) away with a cheap form that you can get at the grocery stores. After learning as much as I could about taking Omegas, there's a reason why this is more expensive and the others are cheap. The cheap ones are a waste once they get in the body, and often times even rancid. Ew! Rancid fish oil? That would gross out anybody....even a fish!
