I have finished a whole bottle of Barlean's The Essential Woman and although my results are not as obvious as what the other users are commenting, I do notice my facial skin has more glow. I take these for years now. They are like a "system lube" for women. Each of my friends who have had hot flashes and tried these, they subsided with the first try--usually 2 or 3 depending on your own system. I LOVE these vitamins! Not only do they make my hair thicker and my skin clearer and smoother, but they also make my monthly visitor much easier to deal with. I tend to switch my regimen up throughout the month, normally just taking 3 a day, but when the cramps set in and the bitchiness starts, I up my dosage to 6 and voila! I'm back to my old self again. No bloating, no cramps, no breakouts, and lighter and shorter periods. What more could a girl ask for? The only drawback is that I have to clip my nails and get my hair cut more often because they grow so quickly. That's probably a "win" for most people, though. After having my baby i ordered these vitamins for omega supplement. The ingredients are great and within about a week of taking about 4 per day (reccommended dosage is 3-9 capsules per day, which i thought 9 was way too much) i noticed my nails were so long and thick & looked incredibly healthy, and i have never had long thick nails ever. i recently came across an article that said healthy fingernails are a sign of overall good health & frail thin fingernails can be a sign of poor health. how this suppliment affected my insides, well i just dont know, but i saw results in my nails within a week so it tells me it probably worked in other areas as well. I just re ordered it again & will be using the supplements regularly from now on. plus amazon had the best price

I really hate to leave bad reviews, but this product had such an impact on me I just felt like I had to tell my experience. I took this product for about a month. After about a week, I started crying over just anything. This is soooo not like me. I never cry about anything! I thought maybe my body was just adjusting to the "natural balancing of hormones" as the label implies this product will do. After about a month, I became very depressed. I started wondering how I was even going to get through the day. Finally, I researched evening primrose oil and found that in a few rare cases, it has been shown to cause depression. Now keep in mind, I am certainly in the minority. I see from the other reviews most really do well on evening primrose oil. But, I just thought I would tell my experience in case anyone else has the same reaction and can't figure out whats causing the negative outlook. I've been off this product for 2 days and feel worlds better. Hope this helps someone
