Scent is my favorite self-indulgence. The way I figure it is that I may not be able to afford the finest clothes, the finest handbags, or the finest cars, but I can certainly afford the finest scents, and this is one of them. I first encountered Kai on a visit to L.A. Actually, I bought it in a flower shop. You know that fabulous smell that hits you when you walk into a high-end florist, the one that makes you feel as if you are instantly on vacation? That's Kai. I own the perfume and the body lotion. The perfume oil in particular is a very small size, but a little goes a long way. I get compliments every time I wear it. You deserve it, too.

This body lotion is one of my favorites. It does a great job of moisturizing and smells delicious. I guess I'd have to say it's a flowery scent, but don't get the wrong idea--it doesn't smell like your grandma's perfume. It's a sophisticated flowery scent. I gave this as a gift to all of my friends for thier birthdays last year because they all loved mine so much. The product is great and I also love the bottle it comes in. It matches my bathroom so it sits out as part of the decor! If your looking for a great body lotion, this one is the one you should try!

I love the smell of Kai clean, floral, white musk. I love the rollerball oil fragrance, and purchased this as a lotion to use during the summer. The scent is very strong, almost overpowering, and it seems to have 3X the staying power of the oil fragrance. I can literally smell this on my skin 8 hours after I apply (whereas the oil seems to wear off after 3-4 hours).
It is a bit too strong, actually. My eyes are sensitive and they burned the first time I made the mistake fo applying this to my entire body. My husband complained that the fragrance was too strong as well. I no longer use it as a full-body lotion I basically just use on my legs only, now. If you have sensitive skin, the fragrance might cause a rash (I'm sort of surprised it didn't, since my skin tends to be a little sensitive the fact that it didn't is probably testament to the higher quality ingredients used in this product).
Wish the company would make a lighter version of this lotion. On the flip side, if you want the scent of Kai to last all day (and don't have coworkers/family who are sensitive to strong fragrance) I'd recommend this lotion. It is a medium weight moisturizer and absorbs fast, with only minimal sticky feeling before it dries down.

I love the smell of this lotion, and all the Kai products. It's like going back to the tropics and having the sweet smell of franipanni flowers with you all day long. The lotion absorbs into the skin quickly and leaves my skin feeling smooth and luxurious. Yummy!
